Easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to clean (although be careful--that cartridge holds a LOT less than you think it does--but the ink washes off your fingers easily). My problem was that the fountain pen I have used for years is now made in China and no one has cartridges for it any more because of embargoes--and I lost the converter 'way long ago. So it was either buy a new cheap fountain pen or find a way to get ink into my expensive, but ink-free pen. This works really well. And you don't really need more than one and a backup, but having five means you'll never run out. They clean really easily by just running water through them, so each one is reusable until you break it or lose it.

At first I was skeptical about this item because I needed to get my sublimation ink out of a small printer and transfer it to a new one, but with the thin needles I knew it would rip through the hoses so I went ahead and used it without them. It worked! I want to mention that I did use this with an Epson Ecotank printer and it worked perfectly.
