Cards are really small :-(
Beautifully packaged. Informative book. Small deck. Not only are they small but card stock is not good. Disappointing. Would have given 5 stars. A big almost.

Superficial in its depth
This set is sad, as it has no true basis in traditional practice. It is a cobbled-together modern invention. No effort is made to explain why the card chronology starts at the bottom of the Tree, and travel upwards, altho the ‘lightening flash’ (which travels downward) is mentioned in passing, and displayed. The inventors were flying by the seat of their pants because they did not have Clue #1 about what a Tree of Life (and there are more than one) represents.Even if the upwards direction was intentional, an opportunity to teach about The Ladder, the spiritual return to union with G-d, was lost.As a long-time student, and I started back in 1967, I can guess at their upward progression, but am disappointed that such context is not lent to the oracle. The cards have modern themes and very little Torah context. They are directed as egoistic self-development, built for the ‘Me generation’, rather than spiritual evolution. I feel the interpretations are distanced from any actual Kabbalist ontology.I surmise those inventors who “studied the ‘kabbalah” that inspired the original premise of the deck, had good intentions when they made free with their subject matter. They likely only knew of the later Western European mystery school distillations translated from earlier, similarly sourced commentaries. Today we have a great deal more material available to us.This set is a barely useful, superficial tourist’s journey through kabbalah, leaving one devoid of the point of it all. Not recommended.
