We used to have these at work, where I used them for years. Due to some noise at night, I decided to try some for home use, and they work perfectly for blocking out noise when sleeping. Before using these, I did try some that were specifically for sleeping, however, these worked out much better for me.

Love them. I have tried 32 decible shooting earplugs as well as similiar (orange) bell-shaped earplugs from CVS, but these just seal better and are more comfortable even though they are supposedly only rateed for 29 decible attenuation. They seem somewhat stiff when taken out of the pack, but they compress nicely and hold their compression long enough to position them properly in your ear. I just purchased a larger box.

I've always like these earplugs because they stay firmly in my little ears, the other kind that are more cone shaped fall out. Plus the block noise well.

So, the first thing I did was take out a dozen packages and check them to make sure that there were 2 earplugs in each container. All of the packages were complete. It made me wonder if the other reviewer didn’t realize that much of the time, the earplugs are stacked one on top of the other so that it looks as if there is just one earplug in a pack. But in fact, there are 2 in each as there should be.My husband was a sound man for TV and he said that this kind are the kind that TV stations hand out because they’re the best. He said that these are the only kind that work for his big ears.The stations give out another kind for people with small ears.I have small ears and I can’t wear these ear plugs.So the size of the ears is important.
