Well made and good quality

Bought for my brother as a birthday present - he loves it.

It’s great, truly. However in the U.K it is an offence to carry ANY length blade that locks in place without a lawful reason (work etc). I contacted Leatherman U.K regards this and EVERY current Leatgerman multi tool is a locking blade, ‘it DOES NOT state this on website’ so you can’t carry it on you, in public or in your vehicle unless for work. So having it as a penknife just in case is out. Unless you want a criminal conviction for possession of an offensive weapon, give it a miss and get a Swiss army knife.

The product did not meet my expectations as to quality. The hinges are extremely stiff, and oil came off on my hands when I first used the product.

It's always sad times when you lose your Leatherman, but it's even worse when the replacement has the fraction of the quality.Like most things in the world now, they don't make them like they used to. Leatherman's are better than Gerber's... but for the price these days, Leatherman's just aren't worth the money they charge.
