Easy to use and to Calibrate
I live in a very hot area we have up to 120 degrees in the summer and I was never able to keep my pool blue. This item is easy to use, there is no need to calibrate for PH level and the calibration for chlorine is simple just follow the instructions. This is the first time in 11 years that my swimming pool stays blue thanks to this tester. No more color guessing there is a needle that shows you the level and it is working.

The instrument reads Ph accurately. Chlorine cannot be calibrated. At a nominal level with a liquid test of 2.0 chlorine, rotating the thumbwheel to Ph make the meter go all the way to the right needle-pin. If the meter is set for the "E" mark and the probe is placed in the pool, the meter goes all the way to the left-hand needle pin. The meter is completely out of range for measuring swimming-pool chlorine.

Kinda works.
It’s not very easy to use. Seems to be in the general vicinity of the testing strips.

It is actually you, not the meter, that’s the problem.

Does not work accurately
Played with this for a while, trying to make adjustments following the instructions. Seems like you would have to adjust every single time and even after calibrating it still doesn’t measure accurately.

My unit needed more adjustment than the A-E.
I bought it in 2021, didn’t have this great video. One electrode rusted. I cleaned it, but the letters A-E were not enough to use for waking the meter up and setting it. I made a mark on the body of the tester below the center of the adjustment dial, and corresponding mark on the dial when the first (known) Cl was ‘set’. Instead of coming back to a letter, I just line up the marks on the tester body and dial. Also, I use a calibration bottle of water that was taken for testing by the pool store. I just use their reading for calibration instead of a test strip.

Worthless!
very hard to calibrate and then it tells me that my pool has so much chlorine that it is off the chart, but yet I can't even smell any chlorine in the sample used for testing - if I had that much chlorine, I would not be able to stand it least of all not be able to detect any smell - returned it!
