C2G 84293 DisplayPort 1.2 to Dual HDMI 4K Dual Monitor MST Hub, DP Multi-Stream Transport (MST) Multiple Monitor Splitter, Black

I recently purchased the C2G 84292 Mini DisplayPort 1.2 to Dual HDMI adapter and have generally been very pleased with its performance. This product works exceptionally well for extending displays on Windows machines, providing a seamless and reliable connection.However, it's worth noting that the functionality is limited when used with a MacBook. Unfortunately, it only supports screen mirroring and does not allow for screen extension. This is due to the MST (Multi-Stream Transport) feature not being compatible with Apple devices, as mentioned in the small print. That being said, it has the Mini DP port (Thunderbolt) and USB connection only for Apple mirroring.Despite this limitation, for Windows users, this adapter is an excellent choice for extending displays and offers great value for its price. For MacBook users, though, it's important to be aware of the mirroring-only functionality before making a purchase.

Works as described, split screen no problems. Only criticism is that it’s a touch loose in the port so have it propped up as the cable on it is very short, few inches longer and it would be on the desk and no issues

I have tried connecting it my deceives, multiple times, using different hmdi cables, a message appears stating, "input signal not found.

I'm able to have 3 screens in use now - works well, although does need additional powere through USB cable.Operating Microsoft Surface Pro on Windows 10.

works exactly how it should. Needed the USB C to USB A cord for power when used with my mid-2012 MBP.

Happy so far - seemed a little unstable at first (flickering / disappearing display) but I got a mini-DP extender, as the lead is very short, so now the splitter is located away from the laptop and is not disturbed. I also use the provided power lead. Extends laptop just as I wanted on to two further (HP) screens. Great value compared to a lot of the other options I've been looking at.
