my shared custody cat visits 3 -4 times a year. regardless of the various bath style mats i tried under the litter box, there were always sprinkles of the world's best kitty litter all the way from the box across the office floor and out into the hall. many similar mats at similar prices had similar favorable reviews. i chose this one because of the color options. the brown one blends discretely into the wood floor. it collects about 90% of the litter from his paws or that he slings out while inside the box. you easily hand vacuum up the little that gets on the floor. shake the mat outside or carefully into an inside waste bin. when he leaves i will hose it off, roll it up and be ready for the next visit. i wish i had ordered this years ago.

This mat is large and looks very nice. In a world of products that really don't work (what does contain all that litter?), it's does a better job than the other things I've tried. My only "issue" with the mat is that the looped fiber material catches and contains things I wish it did not. One of my cats routinely vomits near the litter box. I cannot get this cleaned from the mat. Even when dried it does not brush out, doesn't come out with the vacuum, etc. I can use a power hose on it in the winter in the midwest, and really don't want to be doing that on a weekly basis anyway. Otherwise, I really like this mat.

The mat really does decrease the amount of litter tracked outside the box. However, when cleaning the mat, I gently shook it out, and it tore. The company is quite responsive in replacing the product. I noticed that tearing has been an issue in the past given previous reviews, but it may be related to an older design. I had purchased two mats (one grey, one brown like the one pictured). The grey mat is fine, and did not tear when shaking it out.

This Matt does a great job at collecting all the cat litter remaining from my sweet baby's feet. It is quite larger than I thought, but I rather it had been too large than too small. I am happy to have invested in it as my cat was leaving it's litter- filled feet all over town. Does a great job, and it can easily be cleaned outside with the help of a hose.

We bought these mats to use under our dogs litter boxes. The work fairly well however in a years time they are falling apart! I use a mild non toxic cleanser so they should hold up much longer!!!

Bought a larger size to try and catch more litter. It's an attractive litter mat and perhaps catches a bit more but my kitty still manages to track it off of the mat and onto the floor.

Came on time. Is a sturdy mat and seems to be good for all the litter my three cats throw out of litter box. Nice color.

We bought two of these mats and initially my wife and I liked the mats because they contained the litter better than most mats we've used. However, they retain some of the litter so effectively that it cannot be vacuumed out of the rubber fabric. So you have to shake the mats to free the litter. The mats are rather heavy and even with gentle shaking the rubber, which seems to be a recycled product, starts tearing apart on the edges of the mat. Then the rips and tears get longer and bigger. Like another review I read here, our two mats lasted only about 3-4 months. Then we had to throw them away. I don't recommend this mat and would not buy it again.
