Sample install. Works great!
Perfect to run my pool lights! Mounted inside the fuse panel, between the breaker and the wires removed from it.The antenna ships coiled, but I needed it outside the enclosure. So I drilled a hole for a rubber grommet and straightened the wire to exit the box right away. This is a 1/4 wave at 433MHz, very low frequency (like bass, it travels further). I know this because my own product also uses sub1GHz radio, ISM Band. Will blow away BlueTooth for interference. No programming out of box. Both keys work the relay, and the channels can be retaught if needed.I may try my pool pump next.

Nice little switch
I have 3 of these controlling lights, and one running at 220V 1HP lawn watering pump. My only complaint is that the programing instructions with the gizmo could be better. I just set up two switches with 4 remotes. Each remote operates both switches simultaneously (they're in range of each other). To program generally I wind up hitting the learn button 8 times to start with a clean slate. There are 3 modes for programing the remote's buttons. The mode is controlled by how many times you push the learn button on the switch. One push for Momentary, two for Toggle, and three for Latched. Push the learn button once, the LED will flash once, then go steady. It's ready to read the button on the remote. Push the desired button on the remote. If it takes the switch LED will flash 3 times and turn off. Then you can check the function by holding the button on the remote and whatever is connected to the load side should operate as long as the button is being pushed. Two learn button pushes sets up Toggle. The LED flashes then goes steady waiting for a button push on a remote. LED out, push the button and see if it works. In Toggle if the switch is OFF, it turns it ON and vice versa. For a single switch I like to program both buttons to Toggle so that it doesn't matter what button is used to either turn ON or OFF. Then there's Latched which is the way the remotes are set up with the switch in the box. Push the learn button 3 times, press the button used for ON, steady LED again then the one for OFF. I like Latched mode for sending one signal to multiple switches just in case they get out of synch with each other. Discrete ON and OFF commands would help keep the switches in synch. Lot of words, but once you get the hang of programing it's really pretty simple. BTW as far as I could tell, the switch is double throw. That is both the line and neutral are interrupted when OFF/open. Another BTW is that I believe that the switch can hold 8 buttons, so 4 remotes is probably as much as it can handle.

Works great as a kill switch.
I bought it to use in my Hyundai Sonata as kill switch. This car has been a number 1 target for thieves. I wired it to the starter relay, and it does the job. You can't start the car without hitting "ON" the remote. The car won't even crank once. The good thing about this one as opposed to a manual switch is that I take it with me, a thief could look around for a switch, but I have this one in my pocket, it's more secure.

No more barking
The media could not be loaded. I actually have a couple of these remotes. I primarily use it at work to control an oil pump. Never tested the stated range but good enough for me at 50-100 feet. Sometimes it seems I have to press the off button a couple times but has never failed me knock wood. I’ve found many uses for the switch. Bought one as a gift for neighbor that controlled well pump with light switch and they love it. Hooked it up to a solenoid to control a garden hose to train some noisy 4 legged neighbors it’s not ok to just yell all at nothing, all the time, always, for no real reason, at all, ever.

Wonderful and amazing price.
I'm amazed at this little thing. It's range of voltages, and high amp rating, and ease of installation, plus it's super inexpensive?Highly recommend.

Nice remote switch.
This is a nice unit for a shop vac. It holds up well.

Range is terrible
I've purchased this so I can install it in my kids big-wheels type of "ride on" toy car as a remote kill switch in case my kid was doing something stupid and needed for me to kill the motors from a short distance at the local park. As advertised, it claims to have a 328-foot range between the receiver and the remotes. That is FAR from accurate, as I was experiencing issues just 10 feet away, nevermind anything closer to the advertised range of 328 feet. Personally, I would have been happy with at least 80-100ft.This thing would also cut off randomly while degrading the performance of toy car as well. It's advertised to handle up to 72 volts with a load of 30 amps. Well, it had issues when powering two 24 volt motors (or two 12 volt motors after throwing it into a second model), both with a 40 volt, 5 amp battery connected to them. They obviously oversold it based on the specs advertised compared to what it can actually be used for.I know there could be interference when it comes to RF signals, although considering that most of the testing I've done with it was in the middle of a big open field, RF interference would be highly unlikely, if not impossible. So it's safe to rule that out.
