SenSura Mio Convex Trim to Fit Ostomy Barrier Elastic Adhesive 50 mm Flange 5 per Box 16483

This was something new to me so I tried it out to see if it would work for me and it did.

This convex base is the one I love. I use it on my mom’s ostomy and the size is perfect. She says she feels the most secure with this base and it stays secure for up to 5 days. It pushes her stoma forward perfectly and there have been zero accidents with this base.

these are what they say, but are smaller. will not fit with high output bags. idk if I got a bad batch but adhesions a little weird too

These bases have saved me money and last for 3-4 days before having to switch out the whole unit. I would recommend

Edges lift even if you don't get it wet. If you enjoy showering, it will lift at least some in any shower. Short one, the edges are coming up... If they're already up a bit, it's coming up A LOT in a short shower. Long shower.. it's coming up a lot to all the way. And once there's any little bit lifting, anything remotely moisturizing you use anywhere above the barrier is going to rinse down and make it lift even more. I put baby oil on in the shower and I've started just putting it on one side of my torso like a crazy person. Looking for a new barrier and I'd just skip this if you want to shower ever again. I've tried that weird shower apron thing over it, their brava extender strips, Walmart waterproof tape, and these things in combinations... No luck. Came up entirely with extenders and that tape in 15 minutes of ocean time under a bathing suit. Only luck I've had is with nexcare tape and if this thing can find a small missed spot to get wet... It will. I think it's a sentient being that wants to go live by itself and is constantly trying to escape to make that dream come true. This goes for all the sensura Mio stuff... In fact every coloplast adhesive product I've tried.

I had a problem with the Amazon site. It kept saying I had to authorize the payment even though it was already processed successfully. So I canceled this one and ordered again. It said it was in the process of canceling and then it went and shipped anyway so now I have two orders and I am so happy because I love these products. It’s so much easier to clean up after and with a receding stoma it’s necessary to have this convex a.k.a. dorm for the poop to come in to. No more messiness
