This lamp is such a nice addition to my living room! I really like that it has both an area light and a personal reading light. It makes the room so much cozier.*the images I included show how the lamp looks switched on and off.**this will look different depending on the bulb YOU put in the lamp (I used 8.5W/800LM/4000K LED Edison Bulbs)The item was packaged well and arrived without damage. I was able to assemble it within 5 minutes and have had no problems with it so far. (Lamp "pole" is broken into segments that are screwed into one another. Cord runs along entire inside of pole then plugs into wall. Assemble top to bottom, then put on lampshades and bulbs)I read many reviews for this lamp before purchasing, and some had mentioned the smaller reading light sags after assembly. My lamp has been assembled for a little over a month, and I have not experienced this issue.One thing I did not read closely enough to notice: the lampshades are in fact plastic. However, this is not an issue. They still look great up close and from a distance. Each lampshade has a different recommended wattage to be used with them. I assume this is to prevent them from overheating. The lamp does NOT include bulbs, so you will need to use your own. The bulbs I used produce no heat, and I would recommend doing the same to anyone buying this product.Overall, I would buy this product again. Easy to assemble, works as intended, and looks how I anticipated.

I bought this almost a year ago in July 2021 (when it was $39 and I see it has fluctuated up to $79 sometimes!) and I decided it's time to write a review because it's been going strong for this entire year and I've gotten SO many compliments on it from my coworkers. For me personally it's not the most "attractive" lamp, but it works perfectly in the corner of my office tucked away where the light can reflect off the wall and bounce back, giving everything a warm glow. I do have it paired with another floor lamp and a small lamp on my desk, but I'd say it still gives off fairly strong light on its own (I usually use the medium warmth setting but the coolest tone is the brightest). It will just depend on how much light you are expecting for your size office. I love that it has a remote because it's in a less accessible spot for me, so that was a big plus.The only issue I had putting it together was some segments that twist together rubbed and wouldn't sit flush, and since I was putting it together at work I didn't have access to any tools or metal lubricant at home. Pro-tip: hand sanitizer works really well as a makeshift lubricant in a pinch, haha.

Amazon asked me to rate the remote control. There is no remote control. Other than that, the lamp is not the sturdiest or highest quality lamp I have ever had, and I will, in fact, replace it someday with one that is much more expensive. The lamp pole is segmented and the ends sort of thread into each other. I intentionally said 'sort of' as there are no threaded inserts or threaded rod involved. The thin gage tubing just sort of press fits into each other. I am mildly satisfied, however, that the pole seems rigid enough for now. The globes are plastic, not glass. The paperwork says that it is rated at 100 watts, but I would never put a 100 watt incandescent light bulb in it. I would suggest LED only. One may wonder why I gave it a four star rating. Only because it is so attractively priced. I got what i paid for.

As soon as I opened the box I was disappointed to see manufacturers still use styrofoam. Getting this lamp out of the box was harder than it needed to be if they'd had just used bubble wrap it would have gone faster and been less messier. Figuring out how to put it together wasn't hard, twisting the pieces together was difficult and sometimes didn't go together correctly so I just put WD40 on a QTip and greased the inside of the pipes where the two ends met and it went together very well and fast. The poll is extremely thin but the base is heavy and will not tip over. I was told when I put in a question prior to purchasing, the bulbs were glass. They are not, they are plastic. I would not have purchased it had I known they were plastic, I wanted glass. I know plastic heats up fast, especially with a heated three way of 150 watt. Glass can withstand the heat. I am concerned about the plastic though. Now, for the best point, after turning it on it was amazing to see how much it lit up my living room. I really don't understand why there are not lights in living rooms or bedrooms for that matter when you walk into a room, but mine is so dim and with this lamp it is amazing how much light it brings into the room. The only other good point Iil,l can find is the price. It was a very reasonable price. Some of the prices on these floor lamps are shocking.

I was happy with my lamp. Just what I wanted. The smaller shade had a slight crack, but their great customer service replaced it right away. Good company to order from.

Too difficult to assemble. Treads are very thin and so is the pole so tightening/loosening requires a death grip. I had to screw and unscrew the top section several times before I got it straight.

Good quality for the price. Plastic shades.
