Bright work light. With proper battery last at least 8 hrs.
Can light up the whole room. Great for work or camping. If you use dewalt batteries you already have extra batteries so it comes in real handy.

Runtime of 2 AH battery test
FWIW: I did a battery runtime test, using a Dewalt 20V. 2 AH battery that came with a Dewalt drill. The battery is a few years old, but barely used. After a FULL charge, I ran this LED worklight on HIGH, nonstop. After 90 minutes I saw two quick blinks (did not notice this mentioned in the manual), evidently indicating the battery was getting low. A few minutes later, it shut off. It did not drop down to the lower outputs, as many LED flashlights do. At this point you can only get a few more minutes using the two lower output settings. Obviously, bigger batteries will deliver more runtime. But 90 minute runtime at highest output, is pretty good. I only wish you could run the light off an A.C. adapter.

Great light
So far no issues, great little light if you’re heavily invested into the 20v Dewalt platform batteries. Original retail is $120 got it on here for $80. Still feels slightly overpriced imo but almost all other similar lights from other brands cost about the same so can’t complain. I do not know how the light will hold up after heavy use, I am a little concerned with the build quality, the plastic housing doesn’t exactly inspire too much confidence to drops. As far as heat goes I have not measured it but it seems to run moderately warm and not excessively hot, which is to be expected from lights.

Great dewalt product
Love my dewalt tool so this light is a perfect complement for the batteries. Light is a little yellow but it’s a great light
