It works just fine, It's sturdy and it works and price was right.

very adequate kazoo, especially for the low low price of 2 smackaroosif it doesn't play, first make sure you're playing it correctly (do not exhale, hum instead)secondly, make sure that little circle piece on top isn't screwed in too tightly. at first it felt difficult to play, and like it was barely working, but once i unscrewed it slightly it was like flipping a switch, and now i have a perfectly functioning kazoo

Neither kazoo made a sound. Kids were so disappointed at Christmas. I purchased based on number of reviews and overall rating (clearly misleading as others faced same issue). I did not read the reviews that state these kazoos don’t work, because, well, it’s a kazoo - you blow air into it and it makes sound. It’s that simple. Or at least it should have been. Into the metal recycling these go.

I bought this kazoo as a joke but it turned out pretty good! It’s a bit more lightweight than I expected and it’s more plastic-y than metal but it has a nice sound!

Maybe we got what we paid for here. If you need a cheap kazoo for an older child or adult this is probably fine. I wanted it for a toddler and thought the metal would be sturdy. The part that actually controls sound is actually a thin membrane that's exposed in the hole. My toddler found a way to puncture the membrane of both kazoos within one day, so they're unusable already.

Whether you’re a local Kazoo player or just now looking into getting your hands on this incredible and underrated instrument, this is the time. After a few test runs I bought several more. I promise you that you’ll get a solid Kazoo.
