Zeek and Dem' Bones: Can these Bones Live

This is a must read for all children! Growing up as an only child, I resonate with Zeek’s challenge of thinking independent of those who don’t align with the values that he was taught. It is quite difficult for a child to not “follow the crowd” and endure the torment of being different.The author did a great job of giving each character their own voice while keeping Zeek at the center of the story. I also admire how she interwove GOD’s Word into the story without it being perceived as “preachy” to the reader.I look forward to reading more of the author’s works in the future. This one is definitely a hit in my household!

Excellent illustrations! Really captured the true nature of growing boys, such as teeth coming in, etc. Good lesson on standing for the truth. I wanted more. I hope there will be new chapters or more about young Zeek. Excellent read for children around 8 to 11.

I loved this children's book and the beautiful illustrations. Not only will kids be entertained by Zeek and his dog EZ, they will be empowered by the message of blocking out the voices of bullies and instead listening to God's voiceto see what He has in store for them. I highly recommend this book.

Great book to teach children about praying a listening to God. Others may not understand what you are doing but when God gives you a vision it is for a reason. Very great story. I loved the illustrations as well.

This is a great book for young people to read. The pictures are bright and bold and simply beautiful. The author really explains in child friendly words the meaning behind the book.

I purchased this book as present for my grand daughters 9th birthday, and she loves it. Its a great way to get them engaged with real biblical characters. I hope more of this is on the way!!

This is an excellent, faith based children’s book with vibrant illustrations and a wonderful message! All children should own a copy.
