Q: Do i have to use a oven ?

The clay won’t harden unless you cook it once done with your creation. We do 20-30 min at 275 in the oven and let stand until usually the next day and it’s solid and cannot be altered.

Q: How does this clay work for canes?

I haven’t tried canes however I can tell you the clay is very hard and doesn’t really get too soft.

Q: Is this easy to work with?

Some of ours were softer than others. But it all worked. We were able with some kneading to get it all workable. I dont regret buying this at all.
