Until I crocheted a christening dress, I didn't own any real blocking pins, so as I finished that project, I bought these. It was a very useful investment. As advertised, they are sturdy and won't bend when you push them through a blocking or ironing board. The storage box they come in is made well. Because blocking usually involves a good amount of water, you want something that willnot rust, and neither these nor their case did. They will be seeing a lot more usage.

I bought these on the recommendation of a crochet blogger, since I wanted pins that don't rust to safely block my work. I'm happy with the size, the tin (so pretty!), and no rust after using the pins the day they arrived.

I'm not a knitter; however, these pins work very well for holding cloth items to fabric furniture. May use them to block some needlework projects, too.

I liked that these pins did not rust. I have only used them twice, so time will tell. There is also a sturdy case for them.

Stainless steel as advertised! However, many of the pins have burs on the ends and need to be sharpened so they pierce your backing and so they don’t catch on your yarn.

I’ve ordered this product before. Love that the t-pins are rustproof which is important when wet blocking handmade kitted items. And they come in a tin I can store them in.

As other reviewers mentioned, these are thick pins and not really suitable for sewing. (To be fair, they aren’t marketed for sewing. I’ve used similar pins in the past on cubicle walls and they are ideal for that.) It can be difficult to push these through fabric, partly because they are so thick and maybe partly because the metal (steel?) coating doesn’t cover the pins’ tips. (All of the tips are dark. ?? I specifically ordered this brand because they are steel rather than nickel, but I’m not sure the steel fully covers the pins.) I use these pins to help hold my embroidery stabilizer taut in the hoops. They seem to work well enough for this purpose. The little storage tin is nice to have.
