I bought this product in October 2023, and found it to be reliable and efficient, complemented by an extended warranty. However, after using it for 10 months, the thermometer stopped working, and I noticed substantial rust in the battery compartment, potentially causing the malfunction.I contacted Vandelay's customer support with my invoice, pictures, and warranty details. The support team promptly assisted me, and the product was replaced within a week. Its worth it for Rs.999/- that I paid. Plastic used can be improved, but Im not asking for much at this price. It serves the purpose very well and reliably, I bought it mainly due to the accuracy Vandaley XitiX bears.This is a genuine subrand of Vandaley that offers affordable contactless IR Digital Thermometers with 3 yrs of total warranty from Vandaley which is awesome.Build and Design is very good, Display backlight is very bright and visible in almost all conditions (RED, YELLOW and GREEN Backlights to Indicate Temperature states) which makes it very handy if you dont want to wake the suffering individual with room lights and is accurate when compared to a stick Thermometer. Very simple to use out of the box. Changing modes is something you must get accustomed to as I prefer Celsius Readings rather than Fahrenheit (Once you do this no more fiddling around).Lowest reading I was able to measure is 32C and Highest of around 42.8C (Perfect range to measure Human Body Temperature). There is a Beep too for Fever Alert (You can turn this off if u want) . You get 2 good AAA Nippon Batteries with it, so no need to buy batteries separately which is nice.

I ordered this product recently for my todler daughter to check her body tempreture.Usages was most freindly and handy product for every parents.It works with batery shell and build quality also superb.Life saving and household product, every person must having this product.

This item stopped working under warranty. phone no given on warranty card is swithed off and no replies on email.

Compared to top brands. Its okish and can get the work done. Quality wise it is okay. Reading a variable but reliable to some extent. Recommended as a backup not as primary device

Good thermometer for measuring body temperature. Speedier and easier to use than others.

We have been using it since OCtober and Its a good buy and it is hassle free to use with previous records for comparison which is of super help. Highly recommended!
