Q: How does the switch hold up? i have a number of well made, supposedly quality led flashlights that have all developed switch issues.

I’ve only had this flashlight for a couple of months, but the switch seems to be sturdy. One firm press to power on in low power mode and then light taps to toggle to medium and high output modes. I’ve had no problems thus far.

Q: I would like to know if i can use aa rechargeable batteries (duracell) or fenix 14500 1600mah/800mah rechargeable batteries in the e20 v2.0 flashlight

You can certainly use NiMh rechargeable AAs like Eneloop pros (Duracell may make some too) but DO NOT use lithium rechargeable 14500s. The light isn’t rated for the voltage those batteries put out and you’ll likely damage/break the light. This is an edc light meant to maximize runtime on standard easy to come by AAs and still put out decent light which it does fantastically! Great simple light for anyone to be able to use. You can use non rechargeable lithium AAs such as energizer ultimate lithium if you’re concerned with leakage but I’d just stick with NiMh rechargeables that’s what I use and it’s great

It does not. It defaults to the same brightness every time you turn it on.
