Sonoran Spice Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion, Ghost Pepper 1 Oz Flakes Gift Box

Bought this for my husband to use in his venison jerky and summer sausage. He said the flavor was good and heat was great. Well worth the money and it the spices will last since a little bit goes a long way!

Really livens up those bland dishes like rice, beans, etc.or sometimes you just want something hot and spicy and this does the job in spades. I use the Trinidad scorpion in a rice dish and just put a pinch in and it made me reach for the margarita! (not in a bad way, truth be told i may have been heading in that direction anyway!)Product came nicely packaged and the amount provided is more than satisfactory. I got these on sale but were still rather pricey. I doubt i would have bought them full price but if i were a more serious cook, perhaps i would.I look forward to experimenting and exploring the best uses for these.

All 3 of these are beyond hot. I really only wanted Carolina reaper flakes but found the price of this so agreeable that I thought I'd go for variety. I have tried all on various things but I like to dump the flakes on my pizza especially.Ghost pepper is hot as hell but not initially, it creeps on ya and stays with you. The Moruga has the worst smell of you take a big waft of it and hurts as soon as it touches your tongue,it's almost not fun. The reaper flakes are painful and flavorful hitting you pretty much right away with unbelievable heat. Very fun to pass around to your friends who aren't chili heads and don't know just how hot these dried flakes are

Flavor on all the products is fantastic. A smaller size would be great because you don't need much.

That is a sentence that shouldn't even be possible, on the surface. A dairy and grain product should kill spice. Not when you grind up some Trinidad Scorpion into the cheese sauce, though.Peppers lose none of their heat in the drying process, so this is a fairly accurate claim of heat. Obviously every pepper is different and heat levels vary, but I'd be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't agree that these are in the ballpark.The heat difference between the Scorpion and the Reaper is very minimal, but the difference between the two of them and the Ghost Pepper is noticeable. The main difference I have found is in the taste. The hotter they are, the more bitter the taste seems to be. Now, that's not to say that the Ghost Pepper is sweet, by any means. Just an observation.

Been using this for cooking, it will turn any of your food into spicy, when I say spicy I mean real spicy, especially the Carolina spies,The price to me is kind of expensive but it is what it is, you get what you pay for,would I buy this again; YES, and I have recommended to other friends as well.
