After reading Jeff Bowles' book on high-dose Vitamin D therapy I've been experimenting myself with high doses of Vitamin D3, taking as much as 50,000 IU per day for several weeks at a time. Mr. Bowles cautions readers to not even try taking large doses of Vitamin D unless also taking adequate K2, and he recommends one with both MK-4 and MK-7. Most other K2 supplements have a paltry amount. This Relentless Improvement K2 has 15mg of MK-4.Vitamin K2 activates a protein your body needs to take calcium out of your blood and into your bones. It helps take calcium out of areas it doesn't belong (heart, blood vessels, pineal gland, tartar on your teeth) and puts it where you need it.I take my K2 with dinner, along with mixed tocopherols and a magnesium supplement. I take Vitamins A, D3, and tocotrienols in the morning. In addition I supplement with iodine, boron, zinc, and calcium to provide plenty of substrate for bones, hormones, enzymes, etc.In the few months I've been taking Vitamins D3 and K2 I've noticed an improvement in my health. I have fewer aches and pains in my joints. The tartar that was constantly building up on the back of my lower teeth has disappeared. I also seem less susceptible to allergens and sunburn.I do not recommend for anyone to blindly start taking high doses of Vitamin D3. But I do recommend Mr. Bowles' book on the subject, and if you do decide to try high doses of Vitamin D I suggest you also take high doses of K2 like this product.I wish good health to everyone.

This combo is perfect, having both K4 and K7 and no additional D3. I previously had to buy two different products, one of which contained much more D3 than was needed and my internist was alarmed at my numbers from my bloodwork. I now have no concern about taking a multi and a calcium supplement, each of which provide adequate D3.

This is a wonderful vitamin. My daughter told me that her dermatologist recommended it to help her skin, and it has helped with my Milia tremendously. But here is an added benefit I didn't expect: I had a huge problem with red eyes, but this vitamin has helped clear my eyes immensely. Also, using this Vitamin in conjunction with Vitacost ( * brand the dermatologist recommended ) Ultra Vitamin K enhances the benefits.

My only complaint is that the mk7 is not offered in larger quantity, the reason for this may be due to its ability to stay in the body much longer, but i would nonetheless prefer 100mcg of mk7 instead of only 60.I take these pills three times a day after each meal since they are fat soluble. As an adult they offer minimal growth over long periods. this is the supplement I have been taking for many years since reading japanese research on pubmed that persons who were treated successfully for liver cancer who took this form (menatetrenone) of vit k2 15mgs three times a day with a meal containing fat had far fewer recurrences of cancer than those who did not. I deduced it to be a substance that prevents liver cancer, period. at the time this brand was the only form available in the high dose. it worked for me.since then, additional research has revealed more of the complex metabolism of the mk-4 regarding liver healthI have no reason to believe that the maker of this product would lie about adding the mk7 to it recently. I might as well assume that all the menatetrenone products are fake.the low rating given by another reviewer based on the lack of dark color in the new product does not take into account that caramel and carob coloring are routinely added to mk7 which is white when it is manufactured
