Gildan Adult & Youth Reusable 2-Layer Cotton Face Mask (12 & 24 Packs)

I tye-dyed these to sell during the pandemic in hopes to make extra money after losing my business. I don't know why the fabric masks weren't popular here, because I LOVE them. The cotton took the dye really well and still have stunning vibrance years later. I enjoyed having so many masks as I was able to create some drastically different designs. Even though I haven't sold many, I still use them myself. I keep several in the car just in case a passenger needs one.You can breathe easily through these and give great protection. I found that these are amazing at blocking out pollen during the seasonal pollen issues. They've saved me during the spring. I can now go outside, or drive with the window down to enjoy the cool breeze without having a major headache or feeling sick later.I hand wash these because I've dyed them, but when I got lazy I've just thrown them in the washing machine without thinking, but they've come out with no issues each time.Machine Washable? At the beginning of summer I purchased the Fruit of the Loom 3 layer masks. They are super comfortable and way better than any home made mask I have (but still kudos to homemade mask-makers for taking up the task to get us all covered!). But then I saw these and decided to give them a go, mostly because they're black and match my work uniform much better (wasn't an option in Fruit of the Loom). And OH MY WOW... I love love LOVE THESE MASKS! They are SO comfortable. It's that same comfort as brand new socks... Or new underwear (cough cough, no pun intended), or hotel sheets. It's like being swaddled (without feeling claustrophobic). I seriously don't mind it being on my face all day. And it doesn't sit on my nose and mouth like the FOTL brand. The mask sits up off your face kind of. There is a seem that goes where your nose is. I also have the mouth and nose mask cage looking thing, and this mask works well with it. The only issue I have is that in the days when I'm at work by myself and the mask goes on and off all day long depending on customer traffic, there is an actual upside to these, which is hard to figure out in a hurry. So I took a white paint marker and made a dot on the top so I can see which end is up more easily and don my mask in a quick manner.

I have been using it for my allergy and they are comfortable and washable. Like it very much!

My job requires me to speak to a lot of people face to face, so finding a face mask that can live up to that has been tough. I guess you can say my face is a bit larger than average, because most masks always ride up or down on me, slipping off my nose or chin while I’m talking. Not good! I had a brand of cloth masks that worked perfectly for me, however they were sold a dollar store and I have not been able to find them since.So I took a chance on these.And they were exactly what I’m looking for! It stays in place on my face and my nose and chin are not constantly popping out. You get the comfort, softness, and breathability of a cotton mask. I like that it’s not too tight, and not too loose. Some people with smaller faces might find it too loose, but I’m not an expert in what people like in masks do don’t take my word for it. All I know is that I like these. Glad I bought a huge pack of 24 so I don’t have to worry about buying more ever again (hopefully).If you’re looking for a basic mask to get the job done, look no further.

I bought these to make custom masks and they shrunk and lost some shaping and the color faded after first dry. I had to dry them as washing isn't good enough to kill germs on a mask, etc. I liked the feel of the material and the ear straps don't make your ears irritated. But they don't look very nice after being dried. I wouldn't buy this brand again.

I found out my younger daughter is allergic to disposable masks and her school requires solid colored masks. Bought these for her to try and they are the most comfortable out of the three brands we tried. The fruit of the Loom ones were very rough and thick even after washing (we bought them directly from their website), the Hanes (from Walmart) were too thick to wear all day for school. These masks are a bit big for her but she ties a knot on one of the ear loops and it fits fine. These masks are not thin but not too thick to be uncomfortable for an all day wear. They are also soft and do not irritate the skin.10/4/2021 Update:I purchased these masks from three different sellers. The masks were great from two of the sellers but from one of them, I had to toss the whole batch. They looked fine out of the bag, soft and clean. However, when I hand washed them, fabric "dust" (as if the fabric was decaying) and tiny round black dots that looked like dead bed bugs were in the water. I rinsed the masks six times, and each time had the same amount of dust and black dots. I didn't want to waste them but couldn't risk using them either. However, the other two batches worked out great.10/23/2021I have tossed the other two batches I purchased due to tiny threads coming off into the water when I washed them. I don't want to risk my daughters and I breathing in the threads throughout the day.

At first when I got them it was delayed by almost a week but understandable with everything that’s going on with drivers and etc… what’s more important is that I got them. When I tried them on they were to big but after I washed them because of course you must wash them and I dried them for almost an hour now they are PERFECT. I’m highly allergic to any other mask material I developed some kind of rare dermatitis around my mouth due to others mask. I like Gildan clothes so I figured why not try them well I’m loving it. Can’t beat 24/$9 awesome I can changed them couple times a day and don’t need to worry I have to wash them before the week is over because 24 is more than enough. Thank you 😊 I hardly ever leave reviews but I had to in case someone out there is allergic too. And it’s made in Nicaragua. I will buy them again if need to
