I recently discovered I was very deficient in both B12 and folate…all my doc said was to go and buy an OTC folic acid supplement…Deficiencies in these if left too long can lead to irreversible nerve damage and neurological symptoms so we need to take it seriously even if our GPs don’t.Having tried regular folic acid supplements which gave me stomach issues I was really happy to find these which I’m fine with. I need to take 5mg a day as I’m having B12 shots which won’t work if your folate is low. Works out a bit expensive this way and hoping to find a cheaper alternative but for now am happy with the results.I know this supplement is working as an hour or so after I take it my nerves start to tingle.
