This is a great compact net for fishing off a kayak. I’ve only used it the once so far but I’m very happy with it. It’s quite small in size but I landed several Perch and Pike and it worked great. Considering the price I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the net having stainless steel fittings. One thing I would have liked is a bag to store it in

I really like the design of this net. It is nice and portable and feels well made. My only criticism is that it really is not suitable for the harshness of rock pools. I managed to destroy the rubber on the front of the net after a single-use. This also damaged the netting. I would imagine that if you use this just in the water where there are no jagged rocks it would be fine. If you want it for rock pooling, get something else. Something that has suitable protection around the hoop to protect against damage.

Bought to help clear a small garden pond. Ideal size but handle became detached from net when lifting a small (6”) fish out. Nothing to hold handle in place, just pushed on. Very flimsy. I epoxied it back on, hopefully it will now stay attached

I use this for getting the floating weed out of my wild life pond. Seems very sturdy even though there was a dent in the handle when it arrived.
