Beginners to Scratch Art will enjoy the practice dinosaur scratch off examples to try and get the correct scratch pressure to show the color under the black. Not too hard, to too soft, but just right. It takes a bit of practice to attain this skill. This set will give lots of practice and there are sheets for makers to try their own. Lots of fun for all involved.

This is not a good item. When you scratch within the lines, all the detail lines are obliterated. I expected the detail lines to be there in black so that they could be seen after you scratced down to the colot. Then I tried to scratch the outline so that there would still be some indication of detail. It was OK, but still not of good enough quality to display. There were no instructions, and no indication of how it was supposed to work. I had hoped to send them as a gift to my grandson to hang on his wall since he loves dinosaurs, but none of them that I did turned out well enough to display. Don't waste your money.

The kids had fun scratching this off to reveal the image. And then more fun a few hours later just scratching off the entire covering (after scratching off their own designs etc).
