Do NOT buy
Was no where close to worth it. Don't bother guys. This was no were close to cooling vrms on my gtx 660 by evga and if i wanted to ship it back it would cost me more so i didn't. For price and quantity it really was not worth the price. Lets put it this way, if they where giving these out for free I still wouldn't want this product. I was that bad guys.

Not for GPU Heatsinks
I am sure this product could work for older computers that have more space between the heat sink and the chip, but its not going to work for current stock Intel and AMD CPU Coolers. I used it in an older model Dell Laptop and it did okay. It's also not going to work for most of the GPUs I have taken apart the last few years, you're going to need something that is a little thinner. When you re-attach the heat sink to the card, after putting this product on the VRM chips, the plate on the heatsink that contacts the GPU chip will not make good contact.I bought this product specifically for a customer's XFX 7970 and it didn't work. I noticed when I received this that it was a little thicker than most of the thermal pads I have used. The size of the pad is perfect for 3GB VRM chips, as I did not have any left over when I covered them all. However when I went to put the heat sink back on the card I was having issues getting the screws to thread in. When I finally got it together and torqued down properly, I took it back apart to make sure all the components on the PCB had good contact with the heat sink. When I got it back apart I saw a tiny blot of thermal paste (AS5) from the GPU chip on the heat sink. Lucky for my customer I had several brand new heat sinks from various water cooling projects that had brand new thermal tape still applied. After putting those on and re-torqueing and disassembling again, the heat sink had good contact with all of the PCB components.-----Bottom Line-------Great formotherboard heat sinksattaching passive heat sinks to GPU VRMs--Not Great formodern desktop/laptop CPUs that use thermal paste to attach to the heatsink from the factoryattaching full cover GPU coolers to GPU PCBFinal ThoughtsI bought this because it was labeled as "Made in USA" and I try to buy American stuff when I can. Hopefully this will be useful for any DIY people out there who are trying to fix their PC

Several tries are necessary
I used this pad on NVS 4200m in Dell e6420. When my e6420 returned from repairs (motherboard change) temperature of GPU was quite high: 100-102 C under the load, 70-80 C idle. A bad thermo pad was suspected. I removed the CPU/GPU sink/fan assembly and found that thermo compound on GPU cracked and didn't function. Here this blue pad came into play. After removal remains of older pads from CPU/GPU I put a small piece of the pad on GPU and a little of AS 5 on CPU. Temperature reading under the load GPU-92 C, CPU -83 C. There was an improvement in GPU temp (about 10 deg C down), but the CPU temp went up! Originally it was 67 C under the load.Another hypothesis came: the new pad is too thick and it slightly raises sink over CPU; bigger gap - higher temperature. The fan/sink assembly was again removed, the old thick pad was removed from GPU. I took a new piece of the blue pad and flatten it to about half of the original thickness. Cut it to the GPU size and installed it. Tested temperatures: CPU 75 C, GPU 87 C. Run 3Dmark11 for about 1 hour to let the thermo compound set. Final temperatures under load: CPU 64 C, GPU 77 C. Idle CPU 44 C, GPU 49 C.

Excellent product. Thick and good quality
This thermal pad is a bit thicker then cheaper thermal pads. There is enough here to cover maybe up to 8 uses if used sparingly or 5 if used generously. I used this for a northbridge sync fan and it keeps the temp right around 32 Celsius. I can tell this is a high grade thermal pad because of its thickness and how well it is wrapped as well as the fact that is transfer heat very well. Bottom line it does exactly what it is supposed to do, maybe even better.

Chip stayed Hot
Just not worth the money, And it didn't work.

Very easy to use. and works great
this worked great when I had to change my motherboard in my laptop. Very easy to use by just cutting what you need and placing it between the chipset and the heatsink.

It worked perfect!
It worked as advertised. . I did not buy this product to replace thermal paste, and cannot give a review of that application. If you are buying this to replace worn-out Thermal pads in a computer, This product works. It lowered the fan RPM's and brought the temperature of the chip down 10C.

Works great just what I needed!!
Placed this thermal conductive pad between the back of video cards pcb board and aluminum back plate to help transfer more heat. Easily cuts with scissors and places pieces on back of ram and gpu die. Each side is quite tacky for good contact.
