I can't do my favorite hobby with it! Bonds all!
My fine scale historical military modeling often involves having to bond plastic to metal or resin items, with as little residue as possible. I simply could not do my hobby without it! This fairly quick-bonding adhesive still allows you time to get the items to mate just right before forming a durable bond. I really appreciate the working time and the fact that it dries clear. Another plus? It won't damage any of the surfaces it touches and can be scraped or sanded off quickly once dry. Strong recommend!

Let down by a poor cap
Of all the high-durometer silicone RTV glues, Elmer's Ultra Stix-All is the most flexible and rubberiest so tends to last longest in applications that bend or move a lot, or have large temperature changes--despite having the lowest strength. You do have to respect the 3-day cure time to maximum strength. It's still a great product but unfortunately a number of years ago they changed from a sturdy opaque orange plastic cap to a ridiculously flimsy translucent orange one that splits the first time you follow the directions to "securely screw cap onto tube." I am still using my last good orange cap from 10 years ago because 5/8oz is just too big for a single-use.If you don't want to deal with this, Loctite 's G02 Gel/Stik n' Seal Extreme Conditions/Extreme Glue No Drip Gel are similar though runnier and stinkier, plus of course less flexible. These also come in a metal tube for longest unopened shelf life, but have a solid black plastic cap that actually seals and won't split. Avoid the non-gel G02 in a plastic bottle as it can harden in the bottle before you even open it, and the Stix-All gel which only has half the strength. This isn't rocket science as toothpaste came in metal foil tubes back in the 19th century, with a cap you inverted to pierce the seal with (as this was well before plastics, the cap was metal too). I can only conclude this was an intentional change to cause the consumer to waste product, like the too-large holes in shampoo bottles.

Good permanent glue for jewelry
Best glue for fused glass in a class. I have tried many types including epoxy, which is messy to make. It's good for students as it only requires a small bead of glue to hold a fused glass pendant to its bail.We just have to remember to keep the lid on so it doesn't dry out.

Too good?
I bought the glue because it was recommended for repairing the back window on my convertible. The canvas has pulled away from the rubber seal and the two parts needed to be rejoined. It was very thick, so it stayed where I put it and didn't run. However, it was so thick that I had trouble getting it to dry enough that it wouldn't keep pulling apart. I had to find something to hold the pieces in place until the glue set, much later.

Good product
Seems to work very well. Dries clear, is fairly neat to use and contents stay moist so far in the tube after several uses.

dried out completely after first use, despite cap back on tightly
i used this once for jewelry, it seemed to work okay, and then I put it away for several weeks with the cap tightly on. Reopened today and the glue is totally hardened and dried out--what a waste of money, and not even my fault as I put the cap back on tightly. wouldn't recommend unless the packaging is updated.

Multi-purpose glue
I have always liked Elmer's stix all glue. It may notbe the strongest glue but for most things than needto be glued it works.
