This is a review of the Guedieo brand Stabilizer Grip smart phone and video rig. It comes in a stout cardboard box with the frame, assorted fixings, mini tripod, smart phone holder and instructions. The frame itself is quite something - as I write this review, late August 2021, it’s priced at an incredible £9-90!!! The frame is made from aluminium alloy with very good casting and machining. The knurled twin holding grips have a really fine 'diamond' pattern finish to them as opposed to the usual thick patterned type you usually see or get. This takes a little while to adjust to them as they feel ‘prickly’ when holding them first off but after a while it becomes second nature. The well machined slots for sliding in cold shoe mounted items are really something with no burrs or sharp edges - in my case I used a small LED light unit - see photo. There are assorted ¼ inch standard threaded mounting holes in abundance that should suit most if not all configurations. Overall it’s an amazing all-in package at the current price but more importantly does deliver the goods. Highly recommended

Included in the package is a frame, accessories, mini tripod, smart phone holder and instructions. It has a mounting option for GoPro, and it has a universal compatibility to most mobile phones. The side handles are knurled which provides nice grip to it and gives more stable handheld phone shooting. Just with your phone, you can take and shoot better quality photos and videos with the right equipment just like this smartphone rig.It is lightweight and assembling it is a little bit tricky however it came with an instruction manual which was useful. The edges are surprisingly smooth, there are no sharp edges that could scratch your hands or fingers.Overall, I think that this is a great rig, it is cheap, but the quality is superb. I highly recommend this to those who are aspiring vloggers.
