I would love to see lord of the rings adapted like this as a graphic novel. I think this shows it would work! I almost feel like buying two copies so I can cut out some pages and turn them into posters or put them in picture frames. It's great and well worth the money. It's also how I introduced my sons to the Hobbit for the first time. Needless to say, it sparked a love that led on to the Hobbit proper and then the lord of the rings too! It is a charming adaptation and I love it.

Lovely illustrated Hobbit book my 8 year old grandson Teddy loves it so does.a 70 year old granddad who is going to order himself a copy.This publisher should print a Lord of the Ring trilogy the would make a fortune providing the quality is as good as the Hobbit

You can't can a book that is more packed with images of Tolkien's world of The Hobbit. But it is not just pretty pictures. It is very dense with text which means it can tell the story very faithfully. This is one of my favourite graphic novels.

A great way to introduce young children to the fabulous fantasy world of Tolkien.

I'm so very disappointed by this. I'm a Primary teacher and bought what I thought was a graphic novel version of The Hobbit to help teach and engage my class. There's about one illustration for every ten pages of solid text. Not graphic at all, the book has been totally miss-sold.

The handwriting is small and difficult to read. I think the content better enlarged.
