The Catlock 2.0

The top and bottom plates of the Catlock did not touch each other on the sides during the installation process. This made it a challenge to properly utilize the breakaway bolts. Another concern was how tight to install the product around the catalytic unit. I was able to correctly install the unit myself. I hope this item deters a repeat theft of my converter - if anything it will certainly make it more difficult to steal and gives me a measure of peace of mind. I would recommend this product. Also the phone number in the manual connected me with a genuine human being who was very helpful in addressing my installation issues. Do a dry. run on the installation first and you should be successful.

Bought because they got my CAT once. 6 months later caught 4 bros. suspiciously 12 inches next to my car when inquiring (what they where doing??!!) they lied about knowing the neighbors and putting their tools quickly in their trunk and speed off. When I started my car, my heart dropped, thought they got my CAT, (the rear pipe was cut, but they could not get my CAT because of your product! It cost me $25.00 to havethe pipe welded back up. the dumb*** criminals did not see the CATLOCK before cutting the first pipe.

It definately takes a little more time to install then they advertise but it would be very difficult and time consuming to steal a catalytic converter with this thing on it. What they fail to tell you is that it's only the original factory catalytic converters that are being stolen because the replacement cats have ceramic instead of platinum. If yours has already been stolen you prob don't need to shell out the cash for this thing.
