Entertaining and surprising!
This was an interesting take on an old trope, the zombie or viral infection movie. I won't give anything away, but I will say that this movie was well written, acted, shot, and delivered to the screen. The story was engaging enough to keep me involved, and I quickly became invested in the story. If you have time and want a different zombie story, try this one, it is very entertaining.

Great Horror movie
SPOILERS:I really enjoyed Hidden. The movie really surprised me. Alexander Skarsgard is amazing as the optimistic, loving father. Andrea Riseborough was great as the weary mother who loves her family but is tired of the miserable existence they have endured for the last 300 days. The daughter was also a pleasure to watch as she wasn't a lame one dimensional heroine. She was a very realistic and fleshed out young character who had endured the kind of endless fear that the plot in Hidden would have placed upon someone. I thought she did her job very well. The majority of the movie takes place within a hidden underground bunker. It is well stocked with food, water and oil for lamps. It is also explained later that it was an old cold war bunker built for a school which explains why there were no weapons or high tech gear inside. The bunker is very dark and created a fantastic setting for people who are always afraid of being discovered by "breathers" above ground. I loved the character development and how everything worked out. The surprise twist at the end was a very pleasant surprise.I only had a few complaints with the movie. 1: Can a rat really eat through a tin can? I found that hard to believe. 2: Why were the "breathers" willing to jump into the bunker so fast when they finally got the door open? They have to know by now how dangerous the infected are so why would they not just drop several grenades or more serious explosives? No way in hell I'd blindly jump down into a cave like that if I was chasing Superhuman monsters lol. 3: How does one can of fruit or beans provide enough calories and protein to sustain life, much less the obviously higher metabolic needs of creatures that can throw a guy 40 feet in the air? 4. How is there a whole society of the creatures still alive when the military is actively hunting them? How would they find enough food to live off of? Unless Uncle Sam is constantly sending troops in who don't come back, where else would they find food?Despite these questions, I really enjoyed the movie. 4/5
