Bought two of these. For whatever reason, they will not work with my USB 3.0 devices. Tried them with multiple devices. Can't believe they would only work with WD drives, but that seems to be the case...

0 cable works just fine in this port but this longer cable does not
This is NOT a USB 3.0 cable. Cannot connect my USB 3.0 WD Passport Drive to my computer via its 3.0 USB port. My short USB 3.0 cable works just fine in this port but this longer cable does not; I can only use it in a 2.0 port.
