IOGEAR Wireless Mobile and PC to HDTV Screen Sharing Receiver

This is a fast Miracast device that is fast enough to almost eliminate lag from the mouse. No, it's not fast enough to play games that involve mouse movement, but it is fast enough to navigate the web without the frustration associated with mouse lag. Most Miracast devices are so slow it's almost impossible to use a mouse. IOGear's Miracast is at least as fast as the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter which costs a lot more.

Junk!!! Doesn't work. Wouldn't connect to the phone to be used. I've had the same one and loved it but after 1 year it has quit and doesn't work at all. I bought this one for my dad and missed the return time.

The manual is quite small, and doesn't mention the "mode" button on the back of the unit or its function at all. The phone tech support is GREATl, but getting this device to consistently work with my 5 YO Acer laptop and a new smart Samsung TV is difficult. (Example: Often after hitting the Windows+P keys and selecting Duplicate, the devices - IO Gear unit and the TV- wouldn't sometimes show up. Sometimes, it reached into the next room and tried to offer my unconnected LG smart TV. Sometimes the no TV at all would show up.The tech support team is working to try to get this unit to work with Windows 11. They haven't had good luck.

Product connects to my laptop but will disconnect every 5-10 minutes, already tried to change settings/wif/and different sources

I purchased this due to the recognizable name. Unfortunatly it does not function conisistently with a PC. Returning it for a refund.

Did not work long enough to watch one movie. Lost box so could not return unfortunately. Waste of money
