Love love love love this. Seriously, way more than I expected to.1. Showering with this is amazing. The water feels so much better. I'm frankly kind of astonished it works (the chemistry makes sense -- Vitamin C takes apart the chlorine and chloramine molecules, and has been used in water quality processing and aquariums etc -- but just surprised that it does seem to work quickly enough to be effective in the shower). And the water feels really good. My skin feels better.2. I've only had it a week, so don't know how long the cartridge will last. I doubt the bottle included will last a year, actually. But the fact that you can refill it yourself with pure Vitamin C crystals -- which are available at any health store and on Amazon -- instead of having to buy wasteful, expensive, prepackaged plastic cartridges, that just become more trash eventually --- this is really impressive. This is a product that considers what's best for the customer, rather than locking you into buying proprietary refills (which you know the business guys love more than anything).3. The showerhead itself is nice too. Works well and looks nice.

I liked that they included the plumbers tape. Needed it. Did use it. There's a lot of plastic parts here but they fit together well and don't break with normal hand tightening pressure. I've taken it apart to replace the vitamin c in the filter more than once. ( I also took it apart a couple of times just to check how fast the vitamin c was being used up) and not had any problems with leaks when putting it back together. Pretty simple to use pretty simple to figure out. Good product.

I really love this shower head! Great pressure, and it also trickles on one of the settings so you don’t waste water, be aware though that if you use this setting it whistles so that you remember it’s on that setting. Everything about it is awesome! Only complaint is the little tube that holds citric acid cracked. Not because it was dropped or anything, so I’m assuming maybe when I refilled the container I over tightened. Even then it’s still working I just have to refill more often (every 2-3 weeks), and no it hasn’t dried out our skin or hair. I bought citric crystals here on Amazon just to see if it would work the same and it definitely does. As far as having to unscrew the head to add more vitamin c, I put plumbing tape and replace it when I refill with no dripping issues at all( Do Not Over Tape or Over Tighten Anything It’s Not Necessary !).Skin and hair feel awesome. The water feels softer and no calcification on the shower head or hose. I was first using it by itself but decided to make it more efficient by adding a filter. Same as I used before but with the citric acid it’s totally different. Before I used to use filters and would still get mineral buildup on shower heads and hoses.I am so glad I bought this shower system. I feel and see the difference. Especially where I live the water calcifies everything.

product works but misleading about the '1 year supply'! Okay it seems this product does work to help extend the color of my hair and it does help leave a shine on my hair. However!!! no way is this a '1 year supply' of Vit C. More like a few months IF you take the cartridge out on the days you're not shampooing your hair or cut your shower down to about 1 minute and skip washing the rest of your body. It's easy to test. The shower is easily removable from the hose. Check before and after you shower and see how much Vit C is gone. In order to preserve my Vit C supply I've taken to removing it on days I am not washing my hair and if I do have an extended time in the shower - you know like shaving my legs or even cleaning the shower, I turn off the water, remove shower heard, take out the cartridge, replace shower head and go about my business.

Nice shower head and extension, but this vitamin C does not dissolve well. I got out the shower with dry skin and frizzy hair. The only filter I see that works is the one in the cheap white container for around $30+. It is cheap plastic but for about 2 months depends on use the vitamin C works great on the making the chemicals in water inactive. So back to what works but will keep this for the shower head

I searched and searched for shower head unit that would remove chlorine and other "bad stuff" from water, and i really wanted a detachable shower head unit. Now I didn't go super gung-ho and test the water (which I might later on and I'll update review) but what I CAN say is that it's a great shower head nonetheless and was incredibly easy for my husband to install!Pros:-Nice pressure to water-Multiple settings for spray which all worked well-Super easy to install-Easy to refill cartridge and comes with enough for multiple refills-No leaking after months of use!-Seems to be good quality!-GREAT price pointTruthfully even if it didn't have a huge impact on the water quality I would still keep it as it is a nice detachable shower head!
