I love the mint in both the shampoo and conditioner - smells like candy canes and gives a nice, tingly, refreshing feeling on your scalp (I did not notice any smell once the shampoo and conditioner is rinsed however, so you're not going to go around smelling like a candy cane). Leaves my hair feeling clean, healthy, shiny, and love the texture. The shampoo and conditioner do indeed feel "salon quality" to me as advertised - and it's the only such shampoo and conditioner I found marketed for men. All the other "men" shampoos from Dove, Old Spice, etc. are typical very cheap two-in-ones. As has been mentioned repeatedly in these reviews, you don't need to use a lot of the conditioner - it's very thick, lathers well, and you can feel it has very good moisturizing agents ("luxurious" if you will). I look forward to the days I shampoo and condition with this. My only "warning" is that for my hair type (very straight, very fine) I can feel the product would likely cause buildup with too-frequent use (due to the moisturizing agents in the product I would assume) - which would make your hair look greasy and weighed down. But that's not really the product's fault. You really only need to shampoo your hair once or twice a week to avoid drying hair out and stripping your hair of your body's natural and essential oils (just rinse thoroughly with water only in shower on days you don't shampoo).......I also alternate my shampoo between this and a clarifying shampoo. Clarifying shampoo will give a deep clean to remove all any buildup, minerals, etc. It will make your "regular" shampoo work better as a result.

I like the shampoo and conditioner and it seems to work well on my curly hair. As some other people have mentioned, the conditioner is thick and its hard to get out of the bottle. I have to squeeze hard to get the conditioner out, which smashes in the bottle. It pops back out (mostly), but it shouldn't be this much work to get the product put of the bottle. I don't know if the conditioner is thicker than it is supposed to be or it needs to be in a bottle that it's easier to get out.

I pretty much use Dove Men + Care exclusively, but I decided to splurge and try this combo set. I do not regret it at all. I don't have dandruff or any scalp problems, but my hair is rather thin, so it gets quite staticy. I noticed that after using this shampoo my hair is less staticy, but also, it gets less oily throughout the day. I tried using Old Spice shampoo for a while, and I absolutely despise it. It leaves a nasty residue in my hair after I shower and my hair never felt clean. With this shampoo, my hair feels (and smells) very fresh, probably because it smells like peppermint.Since this shampoo is so expensive, I did some research to find out how much shampoo I should be using. Turns out I've been using way too much, and that's something I don't want to do with this shampoo. I used to use bigger than a quarter size (I'd pretty much fill my palm), but now I use slightly larger than a time. It lathers enough (and I have short hair), so that it all gets covered. I hope to buy from this brand in the future, but it's so expensive. I can get 4 24.5 ounce Dove shampoos for just under $25! And those last me for at least a year.

The K&S shampoo and conditioner has been a great addition to my morning routine. The the tea tree shampoo seems to do a great job of cleaning and strengthening my hair while leaving my scalp with a fresh tingly feeling. The conditioner is very simple, with a sweet peppermint smell that seems to gently condition without any oily or greasy residue. My fiancé loves the smell of these! They both are subtle, and natural smelling with no strong perfumes or musky smell. I must admit, I have very short, fine blonde hair, and the combination leaves it very soft and fluffy without additional styling product.My only complaint is the packaging. The bottles themselves look very nice, but the conditioner should come in a flat topped bottle. It is very thick, so once you get down to the last quarter of the bottle, it starts getting very difficult to access without a lot of banging. A flat topped bottle for inverted storage would help eliminate this. I also have slight issue with the box it comes in. Compared to the clean design of the bottles, the box looks cheap and cluttered. Not at all what I would expect from a high end shampoo/conditioner at this perice point.Overall it’s a great product and I highly recommend it!

So I have only used the conditioner so far with my other shampoo I haven't finished yet and I really have mixed feelings. When I use the conditioner by itself, it doesn't really do anything. It goes in my hair and act as if nothing happened. I get no refreshing feeling. However, when I shampoo and rinse my hair, then apply the conditioner, the conditioner works then and gives a really strong lasting "cooling" effect on the hair. I don't know why this is, but it seems the conditioner only works in conjunction with a shampoo.
