Every human should be issued one of these
This is THE flashlight. It's incredibly bright, versatile, light, easy to manage, and has 15 or 20 little quality of life features that you didn't know you needed until you have them. Like the magnet on the base so you can "thunk" it against a metal object while you align the light paddles in the direction you want. Like the hook you can use to hang it from the inside of your hood or trunk. Like the fact that you can use the light's battery as a charging reservoir for your phone or tablet. Like the fact that you can rotate the head to swivel the lights through 180 degrees of freedom. Like the little blue button that immediately just puts the thing in flashlight mode for a second. But the best thing about it is how light it is and how bright it is while also feeling very solid to the touch, meaning it's friendly for pretty much any human with any size hands from a 7-year-old boy to a 73-year-old woman. Can't think of something else to buy for someone as a gift? Get them one of these lights. When they get it, they'll say "eh, thank you"... until they use it, when they'll come back and thank you again for real.

My second one
I had one of these hand lights and now this is my second one. It has a beautiful and efficient design. When fully open, it has a wind mill shape. The light has 3 stages of light: center light, round lights, and all lights together. The The projected light is very good, you can easily read under the light. It has magnet at the bottom, so you can attach it to metal surfaces such as vent on the ceiling, if so, then you have plenty of lights in the room. It has a USB port to charge and to be charged. Design is in a way that it stays steady on a flat surface, no matter what the position of bulbs are. Battery rechargeable and has long life. I use my first one for 5 years and still battery is not dead. When charged, battery life is quit long. Very efficient hand light.

Great for Emergencies or Work
Great for power outages and working in a area without power, the flood light is great at lightning up a big area with light but it could be brighter, the battery does die fast at max brightness and with both flood ligh and normal light on, the folding flood lights are nice because it turns the light into a lantern giving 360° lighting. Easy to store away In a emergency bag or drawer the magnet is strong and comes with a hanger if you don't have anything metal to a place it on and is not to big around to grab like a normal flashlight making it comfortable with a slip resistant grip and lightweightIt has only one button the control the lights modes and is easy and straight forward to use, doubles as a battery to charge your phone if needed which is nice.Would recommend if you need a light for work or emergencies

Flexible worklight just short of greatness
I bought this to light the dark shadows under my 4-post lift. This light is versatile, with the ability to cycle through the central spot light, the petal flood lights, or both. The head of the light is also able to pivot. The magnet in the base lets me stick it to the steel 4-post lift just about anywhere, and pivot the head to put the light right where I need it. The floods do a good job of lighting the area, and the spot is noticeably brighter for lighting what I'm working on. The only dings I'll give it are the pedals that are too floppy, though when hanging from above they flop fully open, minimizing the problem. The other is that the magnet in the base is a little weak, making it easy to bump off whatever steel it's stuck to. There is a hanging hook that folds out of the base, giving another option if the magnet isn't doing it for you.Update: The the rechargeable battery in this flashlight is way too small to be practical. With the center light only, it lasts 10-15 minutes, with all the lights selected I'm down to about 5 minutes. Bought this as a worklight, but it doesn't last long enough for any maintenance task more complicated than changing an air filter. Still has some useful features, but docked it another star for the battery.Update #2: Aaaaand now one of the lights won't charge. Stanley=another US firm with a good reputation that sold its name to some Chinese outfit who now uses it to sell cheap junk.

Great light.
I very seldom give 5 stars, but this light is worth it. It's my second. My wife bought me one for Christmas about 10 years ago and it STILL WORKS GREAT! This new one is identical and I'm very happy with both.

Bright light, light weight, not durable.
I was really impressed with the Stanley Satellite Flashlight at first. It’s super bright and lightweight, which made it convenient to use. Unfortunately, after three weeks, it stopped working, which was a big letdown. Due to this durability issue, I’m giving it three stars. It has great potential, but the reliability needs improvement.
