Looks nice but tricky to assemble
The product came with a little card and a thank you note of the family owned small business that sold these. So that’s why I’ll give it 5 stars to not be a dick, but it’s more like 4 stars if I think about it.Here’s what’s nice:-Looks very good. The material appears to be real carbon fiber. It has the right weight and looks.-does what it’s supposed to: Keep keys from poking you or making noises.-fast shipping. I ordered it on Monday, had it on Thursday with the free shipping option, two days earlier than estimated from Amazon. Here’s what’s bad:-Picture and description show a USB Stick. There’s no USB stick in the package. Sorry. I don’t really need it, but it should have been there if you advertise it. Bummed me out a little.-Assembly: if all your keys are the same size it might be easier, but I installed some keys on one side and on the other side the bottle opener as well as some store discount key cards. You need to mess around with the washers to get the exact same height and take the shortest screws and hold it together strongly, to place the counter nut on top. If you pick a longer screw, it will stick out. I read another review of someone complaining it took an hour to setup and I was laughing and saying that won’t take more than 5 minutes, but truth is I probably spent an hour myself to find the right amount and correct positions of the washers for it to be tight and at the same time for the keys to fit neatly.-the counter nuts that go on top of the screws don’t align flush. They also don’t fit through the washers, but I believe this is by design so you can tighten the keys inside better. The last uploaded picture shows the tiny gap.-You can’t really tighten the screws very good because you’re limited to hold the counter nut with your finger or thumb. There is no way to hold it with a screw driver or another tool to tighten the other end. Maybe a pair of pliers could work. I could imagine it has to be retightened every couple weeks, else it will slowly become loose.-there is no way to hide the logo because you can’t turn the front plate since the screws fit in an opening that’s only on the side with the logo. I wish it was just carbon without an extra ikrill branding.Overall I’m happy because now that it has been setup it looks very nice.

Works great with a little adjustment.
This is exactly what I needed to hold my keys. I would recommend putting some blue loctite on the screws. Without the loctite it loosens fairly quickly and will fall apart when moving the keys in and out. After the loctite I haven’t had any issues.

Attractive and Compact Keyholder
A nice, compact keyholder if you still have physical keys (and you probably still have a few).WHAT I LIKED: * Less expensive than the "name brand" but functions just as well. * Attractive and elegant. * Adaptable: Comes with plenty of extra parts - if you have a few keys or a lot, you'll have everything you need. * Comes with a bottle opener which you can use to help balance out an odd number of keys. * Comes with a loop so you can attach things that aren't keys (like a Tile, for example) to the device * Comes in an attractive and very professional box, very suitable for gift-giving.WHAT I DIDN'T CARE FOR AS MUCH: * It will take a few a few minutes and some patience dealing with small parts to get all your keys balanced and arranged the way you like them on the device. But I see this as an investment in convenience and security. * The photos on Amazon don't make clear the difference between "carbon" and "black". Carbon is black in color, but is glistens in a herringbone pattern in the light. You might love it, or you might prefer a uniform black color. (I haven't seen a Black one, but I think I would have preferred it - and Carbon suits me fine.) * It has the company's logo in small print on one surface, and you can't hide that surface because of the way that plate has a recessed are for the screw. * You might want to over-tighten the screw, but that would not only impede functionality, but perhaps strip the screw. Because of the multitude of washers included, there's plenty of "give" and leeway so you can make sure the device won't fall apart, but has enough holding power to make sure keys swing out when needed and fold away when they are not.OVERALL SUMMARY: Beautiful, functional keyholder. Makes a great gift. Highly recommended.

When Carbon Fiber style is your thing
This review compares this time to the Ikrill aluminum key holder, which I bought for my own use.Two things stand out, Carbon Fiber vs Aluminum (sorry, just had to restate it) and key capacity (14 vs 20).In my opinion, the Carbon Fiber is just a style issue. I expect both surfaces to show scratches over time, but I wonder about the durability of the carbon fiber. On the other hand, running my car over either is likely to require replacement. Call me a metal guy.The Carbon Fiber version has flush hex screws of fixed length (7 variations), vs a slotted screw and variable threaded posts (3) than can be added together to suit your needs. So while the Carbon Fiber version is a sleeker look on one side, the Aluminum version can be configured wider. The number of keys you'll fit depends on the thickness and length of your keys. I have two really long keys and one thick one, so I ended up using a lot of spaces and played with combinations and layouts until I came up with a solution. Assembly is fairly straight forward, and get this, the instructions are written in standard English. No guessing what they meant by that. Someone at Ikrill put their best foot forward in the marketing department. In the end, I am happy with the way my keys are contained. Fewer random sharp points in my pocket, jacket or fanny pack.Whether you choose metal or carbon fiber is a matter of style.
