My husband had heart surgery and they gave him a rolled up towel to put on his chest to help him stand up without hurting himself. I bought this seal and it replaced towel, was nice and soft next to his skin but also supportive fab to look at 😊

Using it as pillow - so cute!

I bought this seal 'huggy' for my small granddaughter, and upon opening the (very well packed) package, she showed some disappointment at the wrinkled, shrink-wrapped item, but bravely watched as I unpacked the seal and plumped it up between my hands, which quickly restored it to full-size seal-hood; hooray for memory-foam-type stuffing. She was thrilled then, hugging the seal and eventually taking it to bed with her.Made of extremely soft cotton material and stuffed full of soft padding, the seal makes an unusual talking point, and - most importantly - passes the 'hug' test, as provided by my granddaughter, who said she loved the softness and pliability -she can't say 'pliability' but I knew what she meant when she said 'snugginess'. It's made of non-toxic material, is 15" in size, and although I couldn't see washing instructions mentioned, as it's made of cotton, it 'should' withstand some laundering.I found it very nice (and comforting) to the touch and any child - or, come to that, anyone - would love this, to cuddle, hug, smooch, use as a backrest, or whatever floats your boat. It's 'facial' expression and 'flippers' are unusual and endearing, especially to a child.Her mother was pleased that the girl had found a companion she couldn't seem to put down, and the seal seemed to have replaced her security-blanket, as a long-term plush-friend. You could certainly place it anywhere in your home, for comfort, decoration, talking point, or whatever; it's so unusual, it's difficult not to keep looking at it. As far as I'm concerned, me and my granddaughter have 'sealed' the deal - 'thank you so much, granddad' is such a wonderful thing to hear.

we ordered this chunky seal with high hopes, and it met our expectations. Our little fat blob brings us a lot of joy and happiness. although some people might view him as too expensive, he was worth every penny with his round tummy and soft skin.

My daughter has been ripped off by a company selling these. So, I bought her one from Amazon, it came on the same day and she’s thrilled! It’s very cute, the middle size is plenty big enough to hug. It’s very soft and the quality is the same that you’d get in a shop. Perfect! We chose the middle size as it was an immediate delivery and the large takes much longer.
