SAKURAPen-Touch Paint Marker (SAK41501)

I bought this to sign my books and it exceeded all expectations. The color shows up perfectly on the black signing pages and it didn't bleed through! Which is what I was really worried about. I've signed over two hundred books with just the one marker and it has yet to show signs of wear. The quality is perfect and I'll be using them exclusively moving forward.

I tested out several gold paint pens and this showed up the best and still had a gold shine when applied to dark, matte paper.

I like to edge some of my cards (this year all of my Christmas cards) with gold or silver. This Pen-Touch metallic marker is my pen of choice. I also have one (may also be by Sakura but isn't the Pen-Touch line) which works very well re ink flow, but it has a chisel tip which is harder for me to use to achieve a smooth, even line. The Pen-Touch markers are blunt tip and work extremely well for me. I can just draw my line, no ruler needed. JMO

My wife uses these paint pens in her art work. The gold gives brilliant edges to her work.

The marker is great, fast drying, and the gold is beautiful! I will test to see how much use I get out of it overall, but very happy with the purchase.

I had to repair a chip on a glass tray, where some pink and gold colors were missing along an edge. I used the pink first, which wasn't an exact match, but this gold paint marker did the trick. After I ran it along the damaged edge, the defect disappeared. I couldn't even tell where it had been.

The start up is odd where you have to press on the nib to get the ink flowing, but maybe I'm just not used to paint pens, haha. Make sure you don't loose focus while first starting up the pen, you'll end up with a puddle of ink like I did. The ink is shimmery, writes well over most surfaces, and dries quickly. There also isn't that strong of an odor. Overall, good pen.
