The media could not be loaded. Plain packaging with a slip of paper with instructions. Some people have complained about this, I dont see this issue with this as it just goes in the bin anyway. I followed the instructions and poured the instructed amount of warm water and watched it grow. It said to leave it 20 minutes but it was ready in about 5 minutes. I used it for a small catci display and gave it a water. The soil appears to be free draining which was exactly what I was looking for and what the cacti need. I'd say one disc is approximately 1 litre of soil when hydrated and I have the other disc stored away until I need it. It's in my man drawer, taking up hardly any room. It's very early days but the cacti seem to be happy enough for now. I've added a time-lapse video of the speeded up hydration of the disc. I used 250ml of warm water which was enough.

I needed just a tiny bit of soil for my little cactus, and this was perfect. You just add warm water, and it is ready to use, no mess, no waste. My plants are looking healthy and growing well.

Just enough to repot my plant.

Used one of the disks to repot a cactus and succulent as well as start a new cutting of a succulent. Followed the included instructions and all of my plants have died within the space of a month while other plants using different soil have survived.

Easy to use and looks good , have just potted cuttings from my Christmas cactus so hopefully will have some new plants shortly

On a recent holiday to Tenerife I purchased a set of 3 small cactiI found a really nice deep blue glazed self draining earthenware pot for themThe only thing I didn’t have was suitable soil for them so ordered this for themIt’s a great idea as it is delivered in small compressed discs which you simply soak for a short while to turn back into soilI planted the cacti in this soil and sprinkled decorative small stones on top and the cacti have been thriving! They seem to love itI cannot recommend highly enough, great stuff
