BOSCHGDS18V-221N 18V EC Brushless 1/2 In. Impact Wrench with Friction Ring and Thru-Hole (Bare Tool)

This is small but has a ton of torque. I use it for stubborn bolts and was really impressed. A good cordless impact wrench like this is a game changer for amateur mechanics.I was very impressed with the Bosch impact compared to a pneumatic impact and other cheaper cordless impacts. If you have any moderate mechanical projects I would truly recommend purchasing this.

An exceptional tool, so useful and effective. The combination of Bosch quality and state of the art battery technology has produced a must have tool. My two air powered wrenches are now reserved for only the most demanding nut busting, stubborn jobs. I could have used this very useful impact wrench for so many jobs over the years. Milwaukee also makes a comparable tool, but I am a loyal user of Bosch quality tools.

Small jobs where high torque is not required this may be great. Size vs power seemed ok but it would not break away my cars wheel bolts. This is a low torque model compared to the market that sells mid and high torque guns. For the price this is good some some jobs just not mine.

I haven’t used it much but Bosch makes a good product and it made quick work of my wheel nuts and lawnmower blade bolts. I expect it will serve me well. I like the compact size and I already had several Bosch batteries and tools so it was a no brainer.

I bought this to help with an engine and gearbox rebuild project. It has broken loose fasteners that were hard to get leverage on, and saved a lot of work removing multiple fasteners in the block. There were just a couple where i had to switch to a breaker bar first, but this worked great on its own for around 90% of them. Plenty good for me, and works find with the 18v batteries i already have for my Bosch drill.

Doesn’t have much power. It is easy to take along but if something is tight at all take something else along also to break it free first. (Battery). Can’t say much about battery with this purchase because battery was not part of this purchase, It was separate purchase.

Bluetooth feature won’t work. Purchased this in 5-24-2020 used it once just for oil pan drain plug re-thread. And Bluetooth don’t work, and also the illuminated l.e.d. Light has two and only one works. No quality control was inspected obviously.

I use it for wheel nuts and bolt. It's small but quite strong too. If wheel bolts are not over tightened can open with no problem, but for stuck bolts it's weak.It's small, but the power is more than expected. So comfortable to work in tiny spaces of cars, like engine and suspension.
