Night and Day Difference Compared to Cheaper 12V Fridges!
I recently bought the Wolfbox 12V fridge (59qt) for around $450, thinking it had everything I needed: dual zone, two separate lids, a mobile app, and a decent size. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment—barely kept the right temperature, and the freezer section didn’t even work.Enter the ICECO VL60—this fridge is on a completely different level. Within an hour, the freezing section was already at the right temperature, and you can feel the cold difference compared to cheaper alternatives. It holds temperature perfectly and keeps my drinks ice cold, exactly how a fridge should. The build quality is leagues above the budget options, and honestly, I don’t even feel like I need an app because it’s so consistent at holding temperature. This fridge delivers on every promise, and you can tell it’s built to last. The build quality and performance of the ICECO VL60 are leagues above budget options, and it’s clear that ICECO isn’t cutting corners. This fridge delivers exactly what it promises, and you can tell it’s built to last. If you’re debating whether it’s worth paying more for a reliable 12V fridge, trust me: it is. Don’t waste time on budget options that struggle to do the basics—this one gets it right.

Awesome for Overlanding
I recently got my hands on the ICECO VL45 Portable Refrigerator with SECOP Compressor, and it's been a game-changer for my outdoor adventures. Here's why I think it's worth every penny:Impressive Performance: This fridge is a beast. Pre-cooling the contents before loading is key, as it performs best that way. Whether plugged into AC power or your vehicle's DC outlet, it chills quickly. Plus, when connected to a portable power station, it's remarkably efficient. I never had an issue with running out of power on my deep cycle battery on a 4 day trip.Sturdy and Thoughtful Design: The all-metal construction gives it a robust feel, and the compressor operates quietly. The lid features a wide rubber gasket and secure locking hasps, ensuring a tight seal. The controls and plugs are on the same end, there is another model that has an additional plug on the other side which would be a bonus for loading into a car or truck differently.Temperature Precision: While it may run a few degrees above the displayed set point, it holds the temperature consistently. I found that setting it slightly lower than desired keeps contents at the perfect temperature. In summary, the VL45 is a game changer for me on the go Overlanding. I finally can stop buying ice and having boxes and paper disintegrate in ice water. Highly recommended!

Great warranty and Customer Service
So I purchased this refrigerator for my sailboat that I live on year round, a little over four years ago and it was working brilliantly, quietly and with fantastic freezing capabilities. I turned it off for a few months as I was taking a trip and upon returning it didn’t seem to want to cool down or freeze anymore. I called Customer Service as the warranty was still valid and over a few emails and phone calls we kept trying to troubleshoot what might be the problem. Their responses via email were always expeditious, and the Customer Service rep that I talked to by phone was always courteous and very helpful. But try as we might we couldn’t figure out why it was no longer cooling or freezing. So even though I’ve had it for a few plus years the company to their exceptional credit is sending me a brand new unit. I couldn’t say enough kind things about the company. Not only do they have fantastic products, I absolutely love my refrigerator/freezer, they have a great Customer Service and warranty. If you’re thinking about buying a portable refrigerator/freezer, the VL60 dual zone is a great one to get. You can definitely find refrigerator/freezers cheaper, but not better. ICECO is that better company.

Solida van fridge
Great fridge for my van. Compressor is quiet. No issues sleeping near the fridge. Kept frozen items frozen nicely and wasn't a big drain on my battery.I have dealt with thier customer service as well which was responsive and worked with me to solve a small issue.

VL45 - Well built portable reefer/freezer
VL45 - I have had this for about 4 weeks now, and I am testing it. The first week on 110v power as a refrigerator, then one week on my LiFePO4 power box on 12 volts as reefer, and for the last two weeks on the power box as a freezer at 5F. I filled it with contents from my home freezer, and everything is frozen rock hard like it should be. So far it has worked better than expected. The power draw on 12 volts is around 34 watts on the low setting, while running. The freezer temperature fluctuates about 4-5 degrees, which is normal for this type of equipment. The noise level is lower than expected. I can hear the cooling fan, but not the compressor. It was expensive but is well built.
