does this work with HE washers?

yes - I have a large front loader HE washer and only need a table spoon of Persil Proclean per load. Persil works better for me than Tide and it also leaves no residue . You might get an oder from the washer the first couple of loads, this is normal. The Persil is just cleaning the old laundry soap build up out of the machine. After the machine is clean there will be no oder, and your clothes will be cleaner than you ever thought possible.

What scent is this? from the main offer page it says "original" but on this product page it says "odor fighter"????

I only use the odor fighter to get rid of the odors. My brother is in a nursing home and I do all his clothes. All I notice is it gets rid of the odors and smells clean. I use Persil Intense, which I love. It doesn’t smell like that. Probably is closer to original. It’s the only thing that works for the dirty clothes. Hope this helps.

Is it biodegradable/ grey water safe?

It is bio degradable. persil does carry pods that are non bio

Is this product good to use?

This is a good product (better than the other cheap brands) - but don't expect to get 20 loads. (more like 10 full loads, if that) I doubt I would buy this again unless money/cash flow was tight again.
