works great and was very easy to install!

Changing out the light was not a problem and the light is much brighter than the Zenon bulb that came in the flashlight but the light source is not in the same position as it is with the Zenon bulb so the focus point isn't the same. What needs to be done is that a newly designed reflector should be included with the LED. Trying to refocus by twisting will just unscrew the head from the barrel since the head doesn't screw down as far with the LED installed as it did originally. The round base of the LED takes up space.

I have installed this conversion disc in my 2AA maglight and it worked flawlessly!I also installed it in an older Craftsman 2AA maglight. This model is probably 1" longer than a regular maglight. It worked perfectly in this craftsman maglight, I have had other conversion LED kits that don't work in the craftsman light although they use the same halogen lamp.The install is fast, easy and slim. it's very bright and I hope to get a LOT of battery life now!
