The media could not be loaded. This is a nice concave lens that has silicone bumpers to prevent it from cracking and the minimize the chance of the top coming off of the base. For the price it is an excellent value. It functions very well, and contributes to a smooth spin and good spine time.For those with precision tops it is a must buy.

Worked great

I have enjoyed all things mechanical. This base for a metal-turned top is a great contained surface for spinning a stainless, brass, or titanium top. I find effective relaxation in spinning the top while working at my desk.

Works better than a magnifying mirror. I also purchased on of their tops. Wow! it does spin for more than 10 min. The issue is that it scratches the glass every time it is used. Buy the glass - it is worth 5 stars. The top - well it does spin an amazing time, but at the cost of destroying the surface it spins on - including this fancy piece of glass.

Just for Fun, our kids like them, very well made and designed ...

The rubbery rim and heavy, glass, gently concave lens assure that this spin base will stand still and will be free of transmitting vibrations to or from a spinning top. The 4 inch diameter is more than sufficient to spin my largest metal spin top which is over 2 inches in diameter. I like being able to place a slip of paper beneath the lens to mark the low spot (when a table is not quite level) and watch how the top spirals toward it. The marked paper also provides a precise target when spinning.
