My favorite lightening kit!
I absolutely love this lightening kit! I have a hard time finding products that I like as I’ve been to cosmetology school and don’t want super harsh products on my hair. I know how well quality salon products work so it’s hard finding something that compares. (To clarify, I was just shy of graduating when someone extremely close to me died and I wasn’t allowed a leave of absence. I couldn’t get it together to continue with school so I didn’t graduate. So I have tons of hair knowledge & talent, but no means to get salon grade products) I have used the manic panic amplified kit and it worked really well, but left my hair super damaged. This kit is the one I come back to every time I want to lighten my hair! (I’ve bought it 5 times in 3 years, lol) I know some people have complained about the oils and how it was hard to wash out of their hair…I did not have this issue and I have very fine, thin hair. My hair is naturally a level 5 or 6 with some reddish hue to it. I tend to pull brassy regardless of what bleach I use, but I always use toner & my hair is always a very nice blonde! I’ve used this kit to do an ombré look & also to do from root to ends blonde. Every time it has turned out a beautiful blonde w/very minimal damage! I feel like that says a lot when it comes to bleach! It also doesn’t smell horribly bad like most bleach does. I’ve never experienced burning or any scalp agitation even though it says not to apply directly to your scalp. I feel like you can apply it to your roots without caking it on your scalp and it not give you any issues. Some tips:*follow the directions!!*-check your hair often for the color you are wanting to achieve. If you have super dark hair, it is better to rinse, tone, and wait a week or two before reapplying instead of leaving this on an excessive amount of time and severely damaging your hair.-have everything you need around you so you can apply quickly. 35 volume developer lifts quickly so you want to work as quick as possible.-when applying to your roots, apply that area last. The heat from your head will speed up processing and if you apply it all at the same time you will end up with hot roots (your roots will be way lighter than the rest of your hair). Also, don’t apply directly to your scalp. The product will warm and spread and “melt” into your root area so applying all the way down will get it on your scalp quicker which could make it agitated.-if you’re going for an ombré look, feather the part that will be against the darker hair so that you won’t have a harsh line and it will blend more into the lighter color for a smoother look-I buy foils and apply those when I lighten strands because my hair seems to have a hard time lifting (possibly because I use Ion level 3-4 regularly)-don’t add heat with a dryer of any kind-wear an old shirt because I have noticed it drips as processing goes on and your head warms the bleach-have your toner ready to do when you rinse so you can apply it and also add a conditioning treatment For safe measure-always wear your gloves. The bleach eats your skin up and will leave you with super dry fingertips if you don’t-part your hair before you mix the bleach. If you aren’t mixing all of it then you can mix it to the consistency you prefer. I usually try to go with like a marshmallowCream consistency

Gentle yet effective bleach
Lightened my hair far better than what I received at a “pro” salon where a coloring was upwards of over a hundred dollars.Using bleach please, left my hair feeling very conditioned and softer than before I applied the bleach.I added a mixture of Arctic Fox colors afterwards to get a longer lasting and more professional result than what I had initially received when I went to a “pro” salon. The photo of the Bleach please was after 15 minutes, and the hair initially was a dirty blonde. It did not take much time to life any remaining color out with this either. It’s the best bleach and color combo I have found and have been using it now for several years and my hair is doing great!

Bleaches well
I’ve used this at least 20 times on my own hair, my husband’s, and my daughter’s. She was the only one who complained about discomfort. She has sensitive skin and it was painful on her scalp. It bleaches hair effectively and leaves it ready to absorb dye. Make sure to use lots or shampoo to wash it out and thoroughly scrub and rinse. Otherwise the hair will be too greasy to absorb the dye.

Runny but effective
Did its job well and left my hair feeling softer than other bleach kits. HOWEVER, I can’t give five stars, because it’s strangely runny. A drop dripped off my brush as I was applying it and landed right in my eye. So now I’m at the doc making sure I didn’t get a chemical burn (I waited until the next day, because it didn’t hurt at the time and I have kids). So protect your peepers.

I’ve been trying so hard to get box dye out of my hair. This stuff is amazing.

Game-changer!
I wanted to use this bleach a couple times before writing a review and wowww it's a game changer for me. I have Indonesian hair which is notoriously durable and dark, lifting my color has always been a nightmare until now. That being said here are my pros and cons :)Pros: this lifts my dark and stubborn hair like no other!! I've never achieved the shade this bleach easily gives me, at least maybe not without serious damage. My hair stays oily for a few washes after using it which is definitely preferred over it drying and breaking off. I experience very little breakage in my hair now compared to heartbreaking breakage incidents in the past lol. My hair actually (accidentally) reached almost white with this and I was shocked by the lack of damage. Just follow up with some good deep conditioning and be gentle with your hair for a while after.Cons: this bleach works so fast which is nice but I recommend having someone help you. The second time I used it, I did burn my scalp where I started so I will be having someone start at the other end simultaneously from now on. I wouldn't recommend this bleach for someone who has a very light natural color, if you do then definitely do a test strip first to see how much time you have to work with. Also I wish the unused bleach could be saved but I'm ok with repurchasing when it's touch-up time because of how well it works! Again my roots stay very oily for a few washes after using but it's so worth that mild annoyance, just be expecting that. This bleach has totally changed my hair game for the better and I would never go back to anything else! Yay thank you AF!

Difficult to mix and it burns
I've used many other brands before and never had a skin allergy or irritation. This burned in less than a minute when it accidentally hit my neck.It was really difficult to mix. I should've put it in the bottle instead of trying to do it in a bowl like the directions suggested. It didn't mix well, however it seemed to do the job but so doesn't many other namebrands so I think I'm gonna stick with them. The blue and purple in the picture was also Fox namebrand. I've used it multiple times and love their semi colors
