Perfect!
This is the best robotic pool cleaner ever! If your in doubt on which robotic pool cleaner will do the job, look no further. It's easy to use and does all the work. It goes up the walls, cleans the stairs and picks up everything!! Also buy the stand and cover, they're a must!

DO NOT BUY
Less than a year old and the robot just stopped working. Bought it for Father's Day in 24. When the robot works, it works great. Opened the pool for the '25 season. Cleaned the pool twice and the wheels stopped turning. Under warranty - GREAT. I have to send it back and PAY for the shipping (Less than a year old mind you) and then will be without the unit for a month. Paid $1500 for this unit - lasted less than 1 year and it is already costing me MORE money. So disppointed!!Also the unit is very heavy. I am so disappoined

So simple, even a man could (probably) figure it out
Let me tell you, this Dolphin Premier Robotic Pool Cleaner is the best thing to happen to our pool since chlorine. I was bracing myself for hours of setup, reading a manual thicker than a phone book, and listening to my husband invent new curse words—but nope. Plug it in, drop it in the pool, and BOOM—sparkling clean water without the drama. It’s so user-friendly that even my husband (bless his heart) figured it out on the first try. No YouTube tutorials, no frantic Googling, no calls to tech support. I’m still in shock. This little robot zooms around like it owns the place, climbs walls like Spider-Man, and somehow manages to clean better than we ever could manually. I half expected it to start folding laundry too.If you're tired of scrubbing and skimming—and want to feel like a pool-owning genius—get the Dolphin. Bonus: you’ll finally see your spouse win a battle with technology.

Saved the pool from Altadena fire debris!
We got this about 6 months ago when our pool guy quit and when January came, the ashes from the Altadena fires completely destroyed the water. It was so thick, that we couldn't even see the bottom and we thought for sure we would have to drain the pool. Along with the ash from the fires, debris from the wind, our pool equipment also died and we had to wait months to get a replacement part. So we made a plan to run the dolphin every day and to clean the filter as often as possible. First we used the cloth bag filter which would fill up really quick from soot and leaves. We would toss the debris and hose down the cloth bag and repeat. As weeks went on, we started to see improvement. We also went to leslie's pool to get the water tested and pick up the right solutions and managed to get the pool back on track. Once the soot was out, we switched back to the hard plastic filters. Check out the photos of the pool right at the start of the fires and after, you can see the bottom again. Even my former pool guy was impressed that we managed to save the water. Sometimes, the little rubber tracks misalign and you'll just have to snap that back in. Filter was easy enough to clean, you just have to do it. This little guy is a pool saver! Hero status

In a word - AMAZING!
The first pool opening of the year usually consists of me spending the better part of an hour fishing out all of the fall and winter debris that has fallen into the pool around the cover (how that happens, I have no idea!). So when I read a review from a Dolphin product dealer, raving about the large capacity leaf bag on this model, I knew I had to give it a try.And boy am I glad I did! The initial clean was amazing but the bag did get full after vacuuming up about 90% of the leaf litter on the bottom of the pool. So I cleaned out the bag and ran it again. The pool was 100% clean from the floor, all the way up to the water line! The large capacity bag is made of a thick nylon material. So after the second pool sweep, I removed the bag, shook out the debris, and then ran it through a gentle cycle wash in my washing machine minus any fabric softener to maintain its absorbency. Worked like a charm!Couldn’t be happier with this purchase! Worth every penny!

If you have a lot of leaves, this is not the cleaner for you
We have a lot of trees (live oaks & cedar elms) around our pool and battle leaf debris most of the year but specifically in the spring and fall. We previously had a Polaris P825 that did a pretty good job but required frequent basket emptying; however the top load basket made it very easy. Before buying the Dolphin Premier, I researched and watched many YouTube videos and this seemed to be the cleaner for us. Especially the leaf bag. A few mentioned the bottom loading filter but not enough to concern me. However, THIS IS HUGE PAIN. It is difficult to take on and off, and requires lengthy rinsing after each use. I had to clean the leaf bag every 30 minutes (which stated above was time consuming and difficult). In addition, the unit did not climb any wall in our pool. Our pool has a pebble finish that is less than 3 years old and the unit should have had no trouble gripping. I will say it did pick up and filter very fine debris but again cleaning the filters was too time consuming to clean. I am returning this unit; however, it did not sour me on the Dolphin brand, I will look for another cleaner that better fits our needs with a top loading filter/basket.

Great item but
Great pool cleaner for the bottom and leaves. I contacted the seller about it only going up the sides about 2 feet and goes back to the bottom. They stated it only goes to the top edge 1 out of 10 times. That is correct so you will be cleaning the top edges yourself. Wish they had put that in the description especially for the amount I paid. I do like the bag feature.

Broke Down Within 3 Months - Warranty Requires A Lot of Hoop-Jumping
When the unit works, it does a decent job. However, the unit suddenly stopped working after about 3 months. Although repairs are covered under warranty, there is a lot of troubleshooting the company asks of you before offering to repair. Also, they require you to ship it back to their facility so they can repair it. During that time, you have no vacuum for your pool. Very disappointed, considering the cost of the device, how quickly is broke down, and the required level of effort needed to have repairs done. I would definitely look into another option for a pool vacuum. Dolphin/Maytronics customer care procedures are not customer friendly.
