It works.
I have an old fibre optic tree, 23 years old to be exact. A little motor exactly like this one rotated a coloured disc to make the tree shimmer. I thought I would have to throw it away when it stopped turning and then I saw this one on Amazon. It's a perfect fit, the correct RPM and works exactly as before. I think it's probably a bit over priced but I am happy with the repair.

Great is you remember that it needs an AC supply
It's just what I wanted. I reduce the speed with further gearing from 5RPM to about 700revs per day and its auto reverse function gives it many uses for DIY fun projects. There are some measurements in the advert but a proper set of measurements would have helped for mounting it on the frame it sits in.Project nearly finished and it's looking good.

It doesn't work with AC to DC Power Supply Adaptor I have
The motor requires an AC Output to work. So check the label on your plug firstMy Fibre Optic Display Power adaptor had a DC output so it looks like I need to buy an AC to AC adaptor as well to get this new motor working. The seller responded very quickly to point this out to me.Otherwise it is a perfect fit for my fibre optic christmas display and easy to fit. Be sure to select the correct spindle length as well from the options provided
