You should DEFINITELY buy one!
Installed on a 2015 5.7 2WD. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is… well, I can’t even complain about the instructions because while they are terrible, there are plenty of videos to watch. Now, about the gas mileage, that’s still TBD. Immediately following installation, I lost 1.5 mpg dropping from 15 to 13.5. I know part of that was/is me not keeping my foot of the gas because… well, let-me-tell-you-sumpin… it sounds amazing! Such a big improvement! The only reason I know the milage was part me is I’ve been able to get back up above 14mpg.One thing I did a little different on the install that I feel I can confidently say also made a difference was I used/kept the factory air flow diverter thingy that is on the end of the air box and sits in the hole in the fender. I assume if Toyota spent the money to research and include it in the design, it probably adds to the air-flow & performance.I do wonder about the use of metal tho. I also picked up a few pieces of kydex that I’ll use to fabricate a cover to see if it helps. And… I’m also wondering what might happen if after I close it off, I mount a 3” bilge blower to push air into the box or mount a mini condenser to actually push cold air into the box…

Very good quality, great value, weird noise at low throttle.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Nice part, installs easily, and works/looks great. Only issue I’ve had is that I now get a weird high pitched noise coming from it at just above idle, nowhere else in the throttle range, so cruising at low speed is a bit annoying. Good product though, guessing I got a fluke.

High Quality and good price!
Arrived a day early and after about 3 hours I had it installed. Good quality and well built.Only a few suggestions:The instructions would be better in color. The plastic fittings should be less fragile. They will break if you are too rough with them. The wrench sizes were different from the instructions on those fittings. There were not 9/16.The clamps didn’t have a slot for a flat head screwdriver instead it was a socket head but worked fine.Definitely adds a throaty roar when you accelerate and makes my exhaust sound more aggressive. Gas mileage has improved but not sure exactly how much just yet.I would buy it again over the higher name brands out there.Update: Gas mileage only improved slightly. Maybe not enough to be worth the price if that’s the only thing you are after. The sound is what I love and to me it’s worth the price for that alone. I’ll be adding the pedal commander soon.

It made a huge difference in sound and performance. My gas mileage has been a little better since installing as well.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
I keep resettling hopefully it goes away but, unfortunately I must return in fear of this intake blowing my engine up. 2015 Tundra keeps going into check engine light and states traction control off. It sucks because I like the growl and instant pick up when you step on the gas. Have to reinstalll the stock air intake. Not happy for a few reasons. Have to take time and remove the unit along with the reinstall. Then I have to return it. Then once the return reaches the company I won’t see the refund for 30 days give or take. How can Amazon allow a company wait so long to refund. Customer service has taken a giant nose dive these past few years. They should call it company service because it on serves the company.
