Awesome, but much too large
I had seen contractors and workmen wearing these pants for years. So when we started a renovation on our rental property, I decided to give them a try. When I use my wife's seamstress tape, my waist is exactly 34 inches. I wear 34x36 in Levi’s. So I started there. These pants were enormous! Way too big in the waist and way too long. They were baggy like a tent. So then I tried 33x34. They were better in the length, but still too big in the waist. Then I tried 32x34. They fit great. Third time's a charm. I feel like Jerry Seinfeld. I get to stick with a 32” waist. They are comfortable and durable. I normally use a wheelchair for mobility. So during this renovation, I was sitting on the floor, using a hammer-drill to remove old ceramic tile and VCT. Then I was crawling around in the debris to remove the thin-set and mastic. So I got these pants extremely dirty. When I got home, I threw them in the wash and they were ready to go the next day. They were actually a little bit softer after one wash. After one day of doing this, my Levi’s had tears in both knees. I wore the Carhartts the following three days with no rips or tears. Now I understand why contractors always wear them. If you are on your feat, then the fifth pocket is probably very handy for tools. I’m probably going to buy a second pair. Just size down two inches in the waist and two inches in length.

Great pants for either a casual outfit or doing some light work
Carhartt duck material is great and I know what I was getting, it was just the color I was curious about and they look just as good as the picture. Big fan of olive colors like this. I had to roll my bottoms though since I was wearing sneakers with them, shouldn't have a problem if you plan to wear big boots.

33x34 is loose
I love the pants and the material, duck cloth is very much like canvas...thick and stiff which I like (that's what she said), but they are very loose and baggy for a 33 waist with 34 inseem. I can easily pull it a few inches away from my stomach. I'm 6'1" tall and weigh about 185 pounds. 32 is my classic waist size but more often then not 32 is a bit tight, these 33's are very loose! Other than size they are great!

Sloppy fit
These pants fit VERY loose in the lower legs, which is frustrating because they get caught/snagged on items around the work site. Conversely, the waist is snug, but that's more of my problem because of too many COVID snacks. Overall, these are still my go-to work pants, but I just wish the lower legs (knees down) were more fitted.

Very durable and comfortable
Having a husband that works construction is rough on jeans, These are very durable and always washes up to look great. would defiantly recommend.

technically should sit at waist
I've got this spare tire around my middle that makes it suboptimal to wear my pants at my true waist, so basically all pants I buy are a little too long, unless they're specifically cut to fit at the hips. These are, unfortunately, cut for the waist, but I still love them and they're still my go-to casual/work/jeans pants. More comfortable than jeans, with extra pockets, and of course the legendary Carhartt tough construction. They hold up forever and only fade a little in color over time. Measure your waist wherever you wear your pants, and to be double sure, measure over some pants you're already wearing. Use that measurement to determine your waist size. That's how I find my size.

Excellent quality. size 34 was a bit large and the 33 was a bit tight. They were shipped from the USA but came quick and were not expensive

What happened to Quality Carhart?
The seller provided exactly what I ordered, their service was Great.Carharts are definitely not what they used to be.material is thinner and Shrink far too much. I have too get a lager size due to waist band area shrinkage yet the leg circumference doesnt shrink as bad but the length does.I have 10 year old jeans that fit exactly the way they did when i bought them.

The sizing is off
I'm sure they're great pants, I mean they are carhartt's after all... but they are small. I usually wear a loose fit 36 waist snug so I got the 38's to be comfortable for work. I got them and they fit more like a slim 34... they were a couple inches too small. My advice would be to go try them on in a Mark's or some place first if you can and see what fits to avoid the hassle of returning them and reordering. I'm not knocking the quality of the pants but a lot of good they are if they don't fit.
