Really love the idea for these reusable swabs that trying to reduce our landfill waste which are the perfect replacement for qtips,I was excited to use these swabs, however, I feel the white nut is loosed and falls off inside my ear canal after firstly using, it's very uncomfortable since I can't hear anything immediately, I try to draw it out by myself but it's not available, I have to ask help for my sister, luckly, the troublesome nut was clamped out by a small hemostats by my sister, otherwise, I may have to go to the emergency room. Overall, this is good idea to make reusable swabs, but the execution is not good, I would search for one where the q-tip is one whole piece.

Like many of us, I've really been making an attempt in recent years to reduce my consumption of single-use, disposable products where I reasonably can. Things like glass drinking straws, reusable silicone food storage bags, canvass grocery bags, and the like- I'm totally on board. When I saw these reusable q-tips, they seemed like something right up my alley, so I decided to give them a try. I wasn't quite sure exactly what to expect from a silicone swab head, since its such a radical departure from cotton, but I was surprised at well the material works for this purpose. The heads are soft, somewhat pliable, and provide just a bit of drag when pulled a across the skin, despite they're smooth texture. Best of all, nothing seems to stain them or remain stuck-on (a gentle cleaning with regular soap and water, and they're good as new. The only downside, though, is that they simply aren't able to pick up dirt or clean out ears as well as traditional cotton swabs will.. That said, they have a ton of other uses like applying super-glue or other adhesives to small or tight areas, or as fine detail applicators,especially where lint is a particular concern. They may not quite be a slam-dunk replacement for standard disposable q-tips, but they're definitely useful to have around and I'm glad that I stumbled upon them. =)

I don’t understand why they made it for. Really worth for nothing. I really like just buy a regular one I think it will work better than this plastic stick.

I've been looking for sustainable alternatives to common household products and this seems like a no-brainer to replace bulky packages of 100+ cotton swabs.Pros:- cleans thoroughly- less one-use plastic and pollution- a low-cost reusable product- sleek, compact packaging, great for travel!Cons:- uncomfortable to use compared to cotton swabs- not that easy to clean for something that needs to be cleaned after every use- not sure about the durabilityMy suggestions are to make the tip of a softer material and consider a lightly textured material instead of the nubs which are not very comfortable to the ear canal. But still a great buy for the eco-conscious, minimalists, and frequent travelers. Overall, a great product that needs a few tweaks to be perfect.

Has a sliding magnetic case they took me a minute to figure out how to open. Seems like it’s constructed well, but I found it didn’t suit my purposes. Q-tips clean my ears much better, but if reducing waste is super important to you, this might work. There may also be other applications that this might be better for that I personally don’t use. UPDATE: I have 3 of these left and I am returning them. I hope I do not get a hassle on a full refund. I gave a few to my elderly father. My brother stopped at my Dads a few days ago and my Dad was telling him there was something wrong with his ear. My brother looked and lodged in my Dads ear was the end of one of these swabs. My brother was able to get it out but it was scary. That is very dangerous and am thankful it didn't turn out worse. As for the other swab I left with my Dad who knows where that is. But what I have left will be returned.The Reusable Swabs come in different colors and the two ends are shaped a little different. I like the fact they are color coded. You can use different colors for different people, different uses, etc. Very easy to clean and they come with a little plastic case to put them in. I wasn't sure my ears were clean, it is a different feeling but I checked with a regular cotton swab and the Reusable swab did the job. I used one to clean up make-up mishaps. One to clean around the buttons on the phones and remotes, it did a nice job. I am still finding uses for these swabs. The Reusable swabs performed as described.

I appreciate the colors, the amount of swabs, and the convenience of them, but overall they do not absorb water or makeup remover and therefore are not that effective in cleaning or removing makeup. But for being reusable swabs that are not made of cotton they are okay.
