How to Big Wall Climb Paperback – April 3, 2012

Great book even if you’re an experienced climber. The book breaks down every aspect of big wall climbing with pro tips, explanations of the latest gear and gadgets, and tips on how to top out. I especially liked the techniques on how to move fast and light without getting bogged down with hauling huge loads. Highly recommend this book, especially if you’re looking at El Cap or other long Valley climbs!

Complete, clear... what else ! I already had the e-book and I purchased the "physical" book, it's more convenient and the book is worth it.C'est complet, c'est clair. Que demander d'autre. J'avais déjà la version électronique et j'ai acheté la version papier plus pratique. Vu l'interêt du livre, cela en vaut la peine.

Had a friend recommend this and I wasn’t sure how much I would get out of it after climbing 10 years, but even the first chapter was great. Makes you think a ton about your process and shows how you can get a wider skillset to elevate your decision making

Wanna climb a big wall? Don't hesitate. Buy this book. I summited The Nose after following (most) of Chris' protocol. As a team of 2 we freed up to 5.10+ and took 3 days. No terrible headaches or suffering. Lots of useful tips and tricks in here too.

Great step by step guide for those wanting to climb a big wall but have minimal climbing experience. A few typos but otherwise great.

I ordered this book from Amerika because i couldn't find it here in Europe.Although the book is not very thick and the letters are not very small ;) it is quite informative;lots of pictures help you to make the stuff imaginable.

Excellent reference. Chris has trimmed all the fat in this "need to know" only treatise. A must read for any aspiring Big Wall climber! ...or an old fart like me!
